Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin. Some people absolutely love the idea of online currencies while others completely despise it. It really comes down to personal preference but this article does bring up some good points. I would like to start off by saying that Bitcoin is definitely not garbage in my opinion. It has strong potential but it has hit a block in the road as not many people know about it. As Bitcoin slowly becomes mainstream, the price should go up and at that time, everyone will see that Bitcoin is definitely not garbage. Another huge problem is the fees, why would anyone in their right mind invest into a currency where they have to spend a huge amount of money just to send that currency to someone else. It really doesn't make any sense.

I think that this is an excellent article in response to marketwatch's article.

First of all, let me just say that marketwatch is filled with fiat supporters, central banking supporters, so they have a direct conflict of interest. Obviously, bitcoin if mass adopted would be infinitely better than the current fiat system, as it does not fuel bubbles, it does not hyperinflate, nobody is in control of it 100% like the government is, and there is no fractional reserve.

The quote from the original article about how bitcoin is garbage(not this one) basically sums up how ignorant the author actually is on marketwatch:

I really don't need anyone to write an article for me in other to know that bitcoin is not a garbage the number of people on this forum as well as outside it involved in bitcoin is enough testimony to that effect. If those speculators playing unfair, I will not seemingly entertain their rumors but I am putting my bows to those who can prove it litterally that bitcoin is a garbage. Only those who do not completely understand bitcoin and blockchain will say that bitcoin is garbage. The article is correct in pointing out the key points in bitcoin. He is entitled to his own opinion about bitcoin. But us believes otherwise. We all know that bitcoin is not a garbage, tell that to the countless people who have became rich through bitcoin. Or investors who are stashing huge amount of bitcoin in their wallet because they think that bitcoin is safe for storing their wealth. The votality, high fee and longer confirmation time is the only thing I dislike with bitcoin. Generalizing bitcoin as a garbage because you hate one of it's feature is dumb if you will not consider the postives about bitcoin. So far I use bitcoin as investment and as a savings account. If you are not the type to be patient with how bitcojn works, then convert your money into another coin or stay away with cryptocurrency.

But I think that is a little exaggerated. And I don't feel bad about bitcoin and also do not have any bad experience with it. Though, if you are a poor person, you prioritize yourself to go in these internet shops than giving yourself a good meal everyday? Do you think that is good? Poor and beggar have differences, poor, don't have enough money but they live in a house but not well fitted for them. Beggars just sleep wherever they can sleep and begs for food.
