For those claiming bitcoin is a garbage maybe they are not happy with bitcoin nowadays. But me Im thankful of bitcoin because I learn a lot when I learn bitcoin. Bitcoin help anyone by providing a source if income that really supports financial needs. Bitcoin is really important to me for years that Im using it.
That can't be helped right? Being popular means you must have haters. Though I am also thankful in these digital currency where it gave me extra income and helping me pay some bills, I think without it, I am still in the roof of my mother whining how to get a job. It is not that important to me, though it is great that it helped me stand up. |

Yes most of new trader/buyer don't know how to store their bitcoins and many of them keep buying bitcoin when it is in peak price. When there is some correction just after that pump, they become panic and sell all they have. On the end they will actually loss with price volatility and start claiming that bitcoin is just a bubble and can't be stable investment |

Almost always they end up with less, unless you have long term experience trading elsewhere. |

Bitcoin is really not a garbage and we ahould embrace bitcoin.Because bitcoin is really an important thing ,it is important as money.Through bitcoin i am able to earn and use my money wisely.And by this i can provide some of my financial needs.
How can we say that bitcoin is just a garbage? We can't say that because there's a lot of people was helped by bitcoin. Of course, bitcoin is really important today especially to those people using bitcoin for their daily needs. I earn bitcoin in this forum that's why I'll work for it to support my financial needs. I will embrace it as much as it helps me a lot. It was so encouraging when I faced the world of bitcoin. Though people don't care about bitcoin but, we all know that there's a lot of important things behind it. |

I agree. Bitcoin is precious, as precious as a stone and i dont want to lose it nor forget it. I dont want to hear people that thet are saying that bitcoin is garbage and we cant earn money on it. And it is better to earn alt coin than that. Bitcoin is the first coin ive known and the most coin that has a greates value of all time. |

Whoever feel its a garbage are free to feel it. Those who feel its a gold they know it . So we do not have to actually judge it because everyone has their own opinion and intellectual enough to make use of bitcoin. Well for the country that has ban btc, for their citizens inspite of knowing the btc and its uses it would be useless for them.

I disagree if they say bitcoin is just rubbish, what they know about bitcoin is very small, they have no insight about bitcoin, then say it is just rubbish, so far I really believe bitcoin is not garbage or just crap, because many already Feel the results or benefits of bitcoin itself, many of them are already successful from bitcoin and get satisfactory results, and maybe that says bitcoin is rubbish is a person who only sees from a different point of view

Bitcoin is really not a garbage, many people gain alot of opportunities to earn here in bitcointalk, bitcoin as the no 1 cryptocurrency. Is really a huge thing for us. It is fast and easy to receive or give money worldwide, you can ask for others services and pay them with btc. Btc is really helpful to us. I embrace fully this bitcoin because it help me alot.

i don't get all this alarms about the fee, really you can use bitcoin on purse.io and save up to 23%, which will kill any fee easily
also using bitcoin on expensive item, to purchase them online will make the fee not that relevant
and also bitcoin allow you to evade tax if you buy stuff abroad , because in almost all country bitcoin is not directly taxable for now, that's another huge saving, you can really save a lot with bitcoin

The article is nice but every one knew all this, it was just that people got blinded by their lust for Altcoin and lost their way and kept saying Bitcoin wasn't nice. Bitcoin is and only coin one should have with him cause at the end of time only Bitcoins will survive. People forget what Bitcoin has done, rather just take a short coming and go berserk, for me there only one love Bitcoin. And this article touches on some very nice points hopefully people will change their views. |

I don't think that a lot of people have actually read the original article from marketwatch. If not, please do actually read it before you comment on this, becasue clearly you are demonstrating no idea why this article in question is even being discussed. I believe in bitcoin. Some points in the marketwatch article is legit, but a lot of it is exaggerated, fabricated, or just outright FALSE and misleading. I commend the author of this article for responding strongly, although a few more points could have been added. The article focuses too much on the idea that bitcoin is a medium of exchange, but not so much on the idea of bitcoin is a store of value as well. - Bitcoin have short term fluctuations, we don't deny that - Fiat currencies are pure garbage, as they are controlled by a single entity. (somewhat touched on in the article)Bitcoin has no one controlling it that can just say alright, lets do this, without consensus from the community - Bitcoin has a 21 million coin cap, meaning that bitcoin is a long term store of value. |

No need to really fully embrace bitcoin right now, as it has a lot of issues that need urgent attention. I don't wanna get too high or too low on bitcoin and think that this is going to solve all my problems. I'll just continue using it the way I have been since last year, and hope that improvements in speed of transaction and fees involved are solved accordingly.

The topic title says it all. Bitcoin is definitely not garbage even though the fees in bitcoin is rising up bitcoin is still formidable cryptocurrency. Bitcoin gives opportunities to alot of people worldwide because many is earning a money/profit from it. Hence people will still embrace this bitcoin that includes me ofcourse.

It is not a garbage it is verty useful today as of now I use these bitcoins as my savings and it is not definitley nonsense.It make sense because many people are being rich and having a growing status today.And millions are using bitcoins and many are embracing it
Yes,mass adoption is taking place all over the world.Bitcoin would not have survived for past eight years if it was a garbage.It has turned lives of many people making them financially independent including me.Only people who would hate it would be the bankers since it has turned to be the worst nightmare for them. |

I've seen both articles (This and the opposite) and I like the points made on this one, also considering everyone knows about the volatility of bitcoin, then you realize the risk of your own investment, it's not bad IMO and there are plenty of people accepting that risk.
The first one was as biased as it could be, a great example of the 2011-2013 media coverage.
