If anyone is using dropbox or something you might want to change your password. Especially if your wallets are stored in the cloud.

Why the fart would you upload your wallet on dropbox?

Just print a paper wallet.
Cold storage.
Something else that is more reliable.

Don't you guys ever learn?

EDIT: Let me guess, you didn't encrypt it either.
How much did you lose?

I suggest to stay away from American cloud storage companies anyway - much too NSA-ish.

Am I the only one who noticed the original post was from 2011? Talk about necro...
Anyways, I don't see an issue with having your wallet backed up to the cloud as long as you've encrypted it with a password of sufficient length and entropy.

Noticed an attack on my laptop from Ukraine (could have easily been one of many hops).

I suspect that since MtGox's database was hacked, they are going through accounts that had large withdraws and hitting IPs or e-mails.

I immediately moved all coins to cold storage.

First seastead company actually selling sea homes: Ocean Builders https://ocean.builders  Of course we accept bitcoin.

imo, dropbox isnt even that great for file management and sharing in general...
too easy for someone else to accidentally delete files in the cloud, not enough
permissions settings , etc.

i dont understand why anyone would store their wallet online when
they could store it offline and be that much safer.
