In the past ripple just throws another billion or more tokens into the circulating supply when LTC gets close to overtaking it. Instant increase in market capitalization.

Litecoin the price is near 50 dollars and for the price of litecoin before the end of this year 2017 the price become $100. Many people buy litecoin as of now so ita better to buy also because anytime the price will increase again. Hold your litecoin and buy more litecoin if you want more profit. On coinmarketcap the situation is not so bright but litecoin is almost as good as bitcoin: btc has $1,383,450,000 whereas ltc - $1,296,000,000. Volume is basically the sum used, the one with which transactions are performed, right? Looks like litecoin is slowly overtaking bitcoin, because it has obvious improvements. So, now it is totally wrong to call this currency a bitcoin clone. For how can a clone be more real than the original, right?

Similar to what happened to Litecoin on Coinbase pump, Litecoin on Bitstamp caused a similar pump, but this time with way higher volume and with a way smaller dump, at least until now, from 0.01952 to around 0.018.

Let's see if the volume remains high, signaling the break of the ATH for good and more jumps in price.

The volume on Bitstamp is 1.2 million dollars in the first 8 hours. That's outpacing the initial volume when it was first added to GDAX (the Coinbase exchange) big time.

That's great, litecoin is trend up i don't think it is something strange because it is chance to getting profit from this really
the trend up is strong it will be trend up for long time, wait up to litecoin's price is stable then sell the litecoin to taking profit,
wait the next trend then we can open positions buy or still wait the clear trend.

Yeah I saw that and it's very noticeable this is the reason why I have to trade some of my coins for litecoin,this is a big week for litecoin I should have bought earlier, anyway there's still room to make a profit once it is listed litecoin will be on the moon.

it is simply changes in price! when bitcoin was stable around $2550 and creeping up towards $2600 slowly (a 1.9% rise) litecoin has been rising from $25-$30 to $50 (~60% rise) and when a big rise happens a lot of volume is changing hands hence the volume increase...

I am glad though! litecoin is one of the rare altcoins that deserves the rise.

Pumps can happen with low volume too, in fact happen all the times with crapcoins. High volumes during a rise are indicators of a solid grow, because an artificial growth would be too or more expensive.

But even without big pumps Litecoin is really close to Bitcoin, with 25.51% of 24 hours traded volume vs 29.15% of Bitcoin

This is not surprising as Litcoin is a "major" currency and need really high volumes to get pumped as now.
