First of all

Base on my understanding

Segwit : Reduce Transaction Size so more transaction can be made in 1 block

BTU : Increase the block size to 2MB

Segwit2x is the combine of both? Or its some other specification update? I couldn't find any information about the difference on google

Next, what is all those BIPxxx thing? Like BIP100, 148, then we got 18x, there's so many BIP number

Need some declaration for it, Thanks!

if by BTU you mean bitcoin unlimited, it doesn't just increase the block size limit to 2 MB it is doing it dynamically and gives the decision of how much to increase fully to miners as far as i know. also it changes a couple of other things

and SegWit2x is just SegWit with the but with the block size increase from 1 to 2 mB it has nothing to do with bitcoin unlimited.

as for BIP100 it is best if you read the BIP itself, i am not expert enough to give you a proper explanation. https://github.com/jgarzik/bip100/blob/master/bip-0100.mediawiki

Yeah Im as confused as you. First there was Segwit then there was BU fighting against it. Now theres BIP 148 which the users themselves attempt the soft fork and theres also a BIP 149 and Segwit 2x?

Whats going on now?
