Hello all, im fairly new to bitcoin mining. But i have stumbled upon an issue i think is worth posting about, because i have no idea what would cause it.

As you can see from the picture below, all 3 of my 5830's have been mining for about 20min, but for some reason gpu 2 isnt quite up to speed with 1 & 3. Is this a problem anyone else is having or is it some kind of settings issue?

settings are as follows

aggression = 7
phatk kernel
worksize 256

yes guiminer sees 3 GPUs, catalyst control center sees 1 primary GPU and 2 additional GPU are active, CPU mining is not selected. It just slowly over time falls behind the other 2 GPUs  Huh

Depending on the physical layout of the cards in the rig, the middle card might have restricted airflow and be thermally throttling itself. I don't mine, but I competitively overclock and that issue in not uncommon with air cooled multi card layouts. Put a house fan pointed directly into the open side of case and see if the problem is resolved, if so, you know what it is.

If the temps are high on the 2nd gpu then what Ilikeham said would likely be true.
