That is why bitcoin will be still a good choice.. and ETH are having a lots of problem even in other exchange site i heard that ethereum wallet was inactive past few days.. Ethereum still altcoin and i think if what happen in bitcoin before it can be happen in ethereum or other altcoin their reason its because of traffic that actually already past this issue from bitcoin before.. that is why bitcoin will never die or replace by ethereum,.

Coinbase has been hacked!
ETH has been effected!

Please site:

https://status.coinbase.com/

should see major sell off..

Beware...

How do you deduce whether Coinbase has been hacked or not? Just because ETH transection has some problem? Shouldn't be so easy to decide about something really happened or not when you don't have enough evidence. Maybe some people will panic and sell and loss some money just because of your message.

i wonder how ltc will manage a sudden surge in transaction volume? someone said something about overwhelming a particular chain/network to test how it'll fare, so i totally agree with that person. doing so will help devs improve the performance (if that is possible?) of the network.

Perhaps this bit of news will help.... https://news.bitcoin.com/status-ico-generates-over-60-million-but-fails-to-deliver-meanwhile-ethereum-flounders/

The Status ICO triggered the eth chain to overload hence the pending transactions and outages in exchange wallets.

Beware...
Not this reason, the reason make ETH down is Ethchain congestion by ICO Status (SNT), a huge people like this project and want to buy, but accidentally make ethchain have big transaction can't confirm => Some Exchange site blocked withdraw ETH, example: Coinbase, Poloniex, ... and panic seller everywhere

The answer is here, Coinbase is alive and well:
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-06-21/ethereum-flash-crashes-after-status-ico-clogs-network

The article reads : "As tends to happen without fail during volatile crypto-periods, the crash almost immediately took the Coinbase offline."

Experience has shown us the truth about these changes and that is something that those that are new cannot see.  There are always a few people that cannot believe the fact that they do not know the future based on their narrow scope and there must be a "hack" or "terrorists" or that the big time exchanges are stealing from them.

It might be an inside job since Coinbase is usually the ones that have these “Flash Crashes” happen once in a while. The people that place their orders on Coinbase should know of the consequences that could happen when trying to place their coins on an exchange so even with a stop loss the coins are really as good as gone now.

You’re right though, there is no proof that the website was hacked or an inside job happened.

I really could not figure out what the problem was, coinbase is having these loading issues for some time as they are not able to handle the traffic for some time and i cannot understand what difference does it make to the price of ETH,the rally is going on for some time and price might correct because of that and that does not have any consequence because of one single web wallet.

The problem was with the exchange NOT with ETH. There is full analysis and technical write ups online if you'd care to look.

MODS you may now close down this thread.

It's happening with Coinbase only and not all of exchanges that cater ETH because of the heavy load of transaction of it, maybe, or they just wanted to control or manipulate the sudden increase of ETH within the fast few weeks, with this issue it will surely affect the news, and ETH holds down in increasing after this incident. Absolutely that ETH is not being hacked at Coinbase.

Either intentional FUD or just someone unaware. There was a few big events with status and civic ICOs that has led to huge amounts of transations being sent on the ETH network which has filled it up to its limit. This has resulted in everyone using ETH or ETH tokens to have issues sending and receiving.

Agreed.. but not random people receiving random funds - as has happened to me personally
Did you by chance have any large buy orders to purchase ETH for a cheap price if it crashed?

No. You are lying. This is a full detailed report from Gdax about what happened and it had nothing to do with ETH. Ffs.

NO HACK at all.

Only the beginning of the deep-freeze of the ETH-blockchain due to the difficulty-bomb.

Other exchanges have disabled their ETH withdrawals too.

Better sell then hodl/transfer.

Tongue

Exchanges are just being scammy freezing your coins on you all.
Simply to manipulate the price of ETH.

Not only has ETH failed yet again but these exchanges are a joke.
This is the little game you are all playing so enjoy  Cheesy

The reality is Butters does what ever he wants with ETH.
He told exchanges before to freeze the coin and they did.
Exchanges do what ever they want and give you the finger.

If i was you guys i'd be pissed and demanding exchanges give you your coins pronto !
All you guys do is take it in the ass by all the players making billions on this scammy ass ICO bullshit.
