RUM AND CARROTS: A PIRATE LIFE FOR ME

Opera Software has been a client of mine for several years. I have the contact of the person responsible for Business Development and I wanted to pitch them on developing and/or including some sort of Namecoin support into their Opera Browser.

I'm not the most technically adept person, so I wanted to ask the community what point I should include in a small presentation to try and pitch them on supporting Namecoin. I know the project is a bit slow at the moment but it's certainly something that a company like Opera could potentially find very interesting if not become a primary sponsor of.

Any ideas and input? Best links and resources to send? First impressions are the most important so before I write them I would like to get it right.

thanks!

http://dot-bit.org http://namecoin.info

I really wonder how this could work. The easiest thing would probably be to insert a feature to query an alternative dns server for .bit domains. I can not imagine them doing it.

What would be cool was if google dns or other large dns servers would include .bit support.
