ofc u can, but will it be profitable? Not sure, u should remembe about electricity
No. I think he means using 4GB cards but the CPU only have 2GB RAM. Anyone do this?
Yup, I bought some Zotac AMD E-350 boards to mess around with and they came with 2 GB ram (bundled separately).
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813500068Installed windows 10 on a 1 TB 5400 RPM laptop drive and it works great for mining Zcash. Slowest windows 10 computer I have ever used but it has Zero issues. 110 watt draw at the outlet with a Radeon 7850 2GB GPU mining Zcash. Will try an RX 560 tomorrow and my WX 5100 for Eth. Likely to see less than 90 watts total for 21 mhs on that WX 5100.
I bought a mini PCIe riser to try that slot with the wifi chip and also have a 1x to 3 (1x) riser coming in. Its a shot in the dark but I wanted to see if I can run 2, 3 maybe even 4 cards off one board. Really doubt it but never hurts to try.
Super efficient and passively cooled, makes a great mini mining rig. CPU is pentium 4 tier in power but its enough to get the job done, a small SSD would be best for it though.
You can get one for $20 and use whatever old hard drive/ssd/flashdrive and power supply you have laying around. RAM on ebay is like $5 for 2 GB shipped or $7-10 for 4 Gb. Has USB 3.0/eSata (not that it really matters) and wifi which is nice.
