I haven't used bittrex yet, so I can only give you info on my experience with poloniex. Right now I really like them. I don't do margin trading, I only use the exchange and the lending feature. Poloniex has a great volume, and although I don't trade with large values, I think it's very important because the market gets more stable like that. They have a decent amount of alts for me, so I manage to ride some pumps from time to time with no problem. They are quite laggy, but since I don't margin trade, I don't think that's an issue for me. I like their lending option, and I use it a lot. I heard of the withdrawals delays, but right now I never had any problem with them. My last withdrawal was almost instant.

I must admit that certain actions concerning Poloniex are on the edge of being shady, and maybe even fraudulent, but despite all this, people don't seem to care much as this exchange is one of the largest by volume.

Shady yes but not fraudulent. Not as of now. They are having several issues with withdrawals and due to their low fee, there are more active traders on polo than on bittrex. They had delisted several coins earlier as well but that was due to low market volumes of those coins and they were any ways being dumped by the coin holders.

Bittrex is better that way and has a responsive support management. But the market size is again less compared to polo.

Poloniex for me, I want this trading site because this is complete trading site. And Many traders are here trading altcoin. Bittrex is a nice trading site too but this poloniex have a troll box.

I have been using both of them for a long time, but after seeing a lot of bad feedback about poloniex. So, for now I will just use bittrex. I just do not want to get into trouble as others have, they get no response to the support tickets they make. For now I would rather recommend bittrex to trade.

Better bittrex, a lot of bad experience when doing trade in Poloniex.
Bittrex is easier to analyze than poloniex.
For beginners this is very good.

I've used both and don't have an issue with either one, only thing I'd have to say is that I'd rather use BITTREX in the surrounding circumstances. Only problem I've ever had with Polo is how much the site is down and has issues which is wildly annoying, like I understand the sites are bound to go down to the amount of people that are going on them because of the amount of people that are joining in now and trying to trade is obviously going to fuck with a site that isn't built well. Weirdly, a smaller site like BITTREX is having no problem in the least with this intense load and has worked through all of this.

Only thing I'd make sure to note is that Bittrex has an insane amount of shitcoins that you should watch out for, some promo coins but nothing too insane.

Both of them are good for trading and since that you are still a newbie better to understand both exchange there's always a risk so better to be well prepared before you start, polo have a lots of big players and they have coins that really exist with project to develop while trex have more coins that still in a workin progress so better to do your homework and study deeper.

Currently poloniex is having problems so I think I will withdraw funds there. For now I prefer to use bittrex as this is one of the best and greatest exchange of moments. Up to now I have not had a problem with bittrex yet. For me bittrex is an exchange number one. The look of a user friendly website makes me comfortable to trade for a long time.

If these two were my only choices, I'd go with bittrex. I actually am using it, but then I consider all value stored at exchange as null unless converted back into fiat. Damn, even some banks in where I live are known for refusing transactions from exchanges and closing your accounts.
Basically, unless it's in a cold wallet or cash in your hand, there is no real value. When shit hits the fan, exchange WILL screw you over.

at this time i use both of them. the difference of the two is only on lending. Poloniex has bigger volumes but having trouble In withdraw and takes a long time in confirmation

Without that damn laggy trollbox poloniex is more usable to be honest.
But it has had some peak lag periods haven't used Bittrex so no opinion on that one but I might give that one a try sometime.

It all depends if the coin you want to trade in is available on the preferred exchange and also if you very conscious about fees as they each have different fee structure and the alike.
IMO i prefer to use bittrex to Poloniex but if you feel they are complicated to use maybe give http://yobit.net/en/ a try.

I find that both are good but for different reasons the key ones being:

Poloniex has the most liquidity even in small markets which means dumping can be straightforward with minimal loss. With bittrex you have to gradually sell and be patient.

Bittrex has a wider range of coins and lists more up-and-coming projects.

Both UI's are good, both charts i feel could be improved so that you can save TA on them. I have to use tradingview.

According to the latest notice also from poloniex we only see that only etherum is problematic and they have disabled ethereum deposits/withdrawals. But with a lot of bad feedback to them, I think it's right if we better switch to bittrex now.

but poloniex is a huge volume trade there. I think no need to worry poloniex is trusted exchanges

but poloniex is a huge volume trade there. I think no need to worry poloniex is trusted exchanges

Many exchanges that have large volumes. But for me keeping better than just silent. So diverting some balances is a wise move.
Do not let us regret and lose the money we have. Guarding for the future is the thing we must do.
