Poloniex Or Bittrex?

With recent news, Poloniex closed their trollbox makes the traders seems worried with Poloniex right now and moved their balances. For me right now, Bittrex is really a good exchanges for me. Also new projects listed on Bittrex with superb volumes everyday.

According to the latest notice also from poloniex we only see that only etherum is problematic and they have disabled ethereum deposits/withdrawals. But with a lot of bad feedback to them, I think it's right if we better switch to bittrex now.

I also saw in recent times, poloniex has a lot of problems and many bad feedback about it. One of my friends, they deposited money in the poloniex account and after a period of time not logged in, they log in again, their account is frozen and they must contact support to resolve this issue but the time to solve the problem is very long, they had to wait nearly a month. I also have problems with poloniex, sometimes during strong pumping , I can not make transactions, this is really a terrible thing and their answer is they were attacked, ddos. If poloniex still does not improve, I think we should gradually switch to bittrex

Both sites are good and it really depends on on people preference on which site he would use but as a newbie I would go for bittrex. Knowing poloniex does experiencing problems as of now.If you don't like any hassle then go for bittrex but it still depends on you if you find out that poloniex suits for you then better choose on which you are comfortable with.

For me both is good poloniex and bittrex is good to start trade.  Tbis to trading is easy to use and for sure you can understand easier if you trade in this two site. Trade in two site incase of emergency because they have possible if you trade in one trading site and close your bitcoin lose so its better if you have support. Many people said as of now bittrex is good better than poloniex and thats right but I suggest try this two.

I haven't really tried bittrex yet but among the three exchanges that I've used, namely yobit, cryptopia and polo, polo would be the best I can say. Though I've heard a lot of very good comments about bittrex both from forums and people I know who's into trading so I may try transferring a couple of btcs there also to have a comparison.

Poloniex. I've trades over 4 BTC on Poloniex, and have never experienced any problems, withdrawal holds, or any other hiccups. I cannot vouch for bittrex however. Poloniex's API is also quite good, I've worked with it on multiple occasions.

I've also tried Bitstamp, Liquid and Cryptopia.

The two of them are good but I prefer poloniex as I have been using them since last year and they are  very reliable. Poloniex exchangers platform is users friendly and there are many tutorial on how to trade on poloniex free online. They also have good customers care.

The advantage of using bittrex as our trade place is we can make a contact with the team of bittrex directly through the slack group and it should become a positive impression to the bittrex users.
The polo already disabled its trollbox. The trollbox as a place to the users of poloniex to make a direct communication with the team. It gives me a negative opinion.

I prefer poloniex more than bittrex because more capital is traded on poloniex than bittrex which makes it a much bigger market for traders. Moreover,i trust poloniex only with my funds and i believe that the people at poloniex will always safeguard the interest of their customers.

I think it may not be like that, it may just be your speculation that states it, but I think the newbie would understand the simple problem that existed in Poloniex.

Bittrex is better because as of now many traders are there and safe to trade bittrex . Easy to use and many coins that have. Goodluck I hope you can start trade .

I stopped using Poloniex. It's too laggy and too many problems happened lately. They freezed some withdrawals. I don't trust them anymore.
I like Bittrex though. They have different coins with good volume. They also offer better opportunities, a lot of new ICO's launch their coins in Bittrex first. Overall I'm happy with their service. My vote goes to Bittrex.

For me the better is the bittrex because in bittrex the new trusted coin is easy to be listed in that way many investors are investing into it because it is listed in the trusted trading sites and besides the bittrex only hold a legit coin and the stable one so in that way the risk of losing money is not that high in the bittrex.

You don't need to choose. You can trade both of them since not all of coins in bittrex are in Poloniex and same as Poloniex, not all of coins there are in Bittrex. Thus, it's better to use both of them so you can buy altcoins you wish to buy.

Its both for me there are both have cryptocurrencies but some of the new good coins were not available in polo and vise versa with bittrex coins. For high volumes and for day trading it is much better in polo and bittrex for some long term altcoins. But i will advice that before you trade or buy some coins make sure you've know some basic to come up with trade.

I like Poloniex and have been using it for several years.

A few years ago it was hacked and there was a big huha here on the forum about it. I supported the Italian guy that runs it, (I think he still does but not 100% sure), in the long thread about the hack, because he showed every sign of being a trustworthy individual, and I was proved right.

I left the Bitcoin scene for a while and when I came back to Poloniex after a couple of years of not logging in there not only did I find a substantial balance sitting there waiting for me, but also that a couple of the "shitcoins" that I had bought just for fun were now worth a lot of money!  

I don't think either Poloniex or Bittrex is going to take your coins and run away with them, so it's really down to your personal preferences. Mine is generally Poloniex.

Bittrex, if I recall had quicker withdrawal times and there was a "lab" or something that could run a very basic projection with some parameters that you put in, nothing too great.  In the end, you will end up on all of them with a coin here and there.  YoBit is out there, but there either play too many games or are really bad at server management.

If you are asking based on a newbie's perspective, I would say you must go for Bittrex because it can really give you great practice before you trade on poloniex where big players play their games and drive the markets hard. Polo consists of large volumes in terms of trading comparing to Bittrex where even worst coins get pumped without much high volume and you may try your luck over dead coins, the ones which are going to get delisted because many of them get pumped at least once if they had not seen such situations before.
