Why BILL GATES do not USE Bitcoin?

Only Bill Gates knows if he have bitcoin or not. If ever he bought bitcoin few years ago and haven't announced it in public maybe because it will affect bitcoin price so much and the government might do something about bitcoin since he is a very influential man. Or maybe he did not invest in bitcoin because he is already rich and he doesn't need bitcoin anymore to make more money and he is a very busy man to and don't want another thing to think of.

Exactly because I suspect he has mining investments in Bitcoin and or perhaps he might definitely have so that he is holding down and waiting for the right moments, chances are that he even has the biggest investment in Bitcoin.

Yea I also saw the video where he talked about bitcoin. He probably has a stash of bitcoin but I don't think he is heavily invested in it. Why would he? Being in it for monetary gain would be a little bit weird because he's one of the richest people on this planet. Probably to discover the new technology.

Microsoft has a lot of branches around the world and therefore nothing prevents them to accept bitcoins. They are doing it. The US government can dictate terms only in America. However, I don't think Bill Gates invests in crypto. For him it is just extra money. In the crypto currency investing currency speculators. This is their issue.

I'm not so sure about that, Microsoft is a company created in America and the US laws can be very broad in its application, even if a subsidiary in another country did something, microsoft will still be liable in the US too, that is why US companies are very cautious to try to not provoke the ire of uncle Sam.

The US is more like a global gendarme nowadays, or a global bully, if you please. In fact, it is not only about companies registered and operating in the US with their subsidiaries in some other country doing something which the American authorities might not quite like that will suffer severe consequences home, in the US. It is not even about some foreign companies having subsidiaries or branches in the US. It is just about any company in the world even if it has nothing to do with the US in general and the US government in particular at all. The Swiss banks had been forced to disclose personal info of the American citizens which kept their money in these Swiss banks in Switzerland itself

Yeah, I have read that too, that is why many companies instead of trying to comply with every single detail in the American law and all the costs in time and money that will cause, are taking the easier approach of no longer accepting US citizens for their services, it is a shame for those that that are US citizens but I cannot blame the companies that prefer to do that.

I don't agree with this view.Do you know that i have invested in bitcoin? Right answer is no. Because Bitcoin is a anonymous currency.Who ever invest nobody know who has invested by whom it is invested.Generally you just created account on your name which is not even  belong to your Identity Card.While banks investment does.

when bitcoin was below 200 USD bill gates told about bitcoin that bitcoin is very cheap so how can say he did not invested money in bitcoin , who knows this ? if he told bitcoin is cheap @200 USD is means he know price will go high and he invested too much that is why Microsoft accepted bitcoin in early stage

He is wealthy enough to say that. Bill Gates was rich before bitcoin has been discovered. He doesn't need bitcoin to become rich. He has a lot of businesses moreover on the Microsoft. We as ordinary people need bitcoin to change our lives. I will invest all my money when I got a job easily. I have one step ahead with my competitors because of Bitcoin.

Too shallow market for him, thats one reason.
He have so much money, that he only cares about charity now till rest of his days, thats second reason.
He can admire technology, but he always cared about technology/software that he can sell, he doesn't approve open source, thats third reason.

Yeah okay sure, when you have 90 Billion, you can go waste your time investing into bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, sweating over them other that time with family. That guy has so much money, he won't be able to spend it after 100 lifetimes. He just isn't bothered investing and he is also heavily invested into USD and is very busy with family and his company. The only reason people invest is to make money, but obviously Bill Gates doesn't need any money

Yeah thats the point, nobody would tell "bitcoin is a good currency" and "nobody could stop bitcoin" if that person doesnt have any single Bitcoin. For sure he has some of it. Who knows Microsoft might creating or backing up a coin just like Google did with Ripple.
