I've read the Bible before. So many times he asked the Israelites to go out and exterminate certain groups. He could have done it himself, but he won't.

Texas, three more states on California's banned travel list

California is restricting publicly funded travel to four more states because of recent laws that leaders here view as discriminatory against gay and transgender people.

All totaled, California now bans most state-funded travel to eight states.

The new additions to California's restricted travel list are Texas, Alabama, Kentucky and South Dakota.

They join Kansas, Mississippi, North Carolina and Tennessee as states already subjected to the ban.

California Attorney Xavier Becerra announced the new states at a Thursday press conference, where he was joined by representatives from ACLU Northern California and Equality California.

"We will not spend taxpayer dollars in states that discriminate," Becerra said.

California's Legislature last year voted to restrict state-funded travel to states with laws that allow businesses to deny services to gay and transgender people.

California's law gained attention after North Carolina enacted its so-called "bathroom bill," which prevented local governments from adopting anti-discrimination ordinances and required that people using bathrooms in public buildings choose the restroom that corresponds to their gender at birth.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott this month signed a law that allows child welfare providers to deny services because of "sincerely held religious beliefs," a provision that critics interpreted as permitting adoption agencies to deny services to gay families.

Remember Sodom and Gomorrah? He could have done it Himself. He was training His people in what was right and wrong.

You don't have the authority to kill anyone, no matter however brutal or bad they are. If everyone takes the law on to their hands, then the world will be a very dangerous place to live. If you have complaints against any individual or a group of people, then just go to the police station and file a complaint there. Let the law take its course.

God has not commanded us to kill homosexuals. And the last thing He told us - and will tell us before the Resurrection - is the Revelation in the Bible. If anyone thinks he/she is hearing something from God, he better check the Bible. If it isn't in there, it isn't from God.

Incidentally, the stuff in the Old Testament was for the nation of Ancient Israel. Present-day Israel isn't the same nation as Ancient Israel. So God's old commands to execute homosexuals aren't even for the Jews of today.

Besides the fact it would be contradictory to the "do not murder" commandment... how would you even solve such a dilemma?

You can't claim god wouldn't command you to murder homosexuals, because he already did... it's in the bible... I quoted it (I assume you believe the bible is "the word of god"?)

It's baffling how the Judeo-Christian/Islamic god and it's followers maintain a prudish manner and yet very obsessed with sex. A large part of the Bible seems to be instructions on how to properly have sex in ways "pleasing" to him.

How would you be sure that god commanded it to you? Killing is not something easy. If god commanded it to me in some paranormal way or a way that i would be sure that it is commanded by god, ofcourse i would do it. But i wouldnt do that because it s only written somewhere without any proof.
