Blockchain wallet is better than coinbase and if you are looking for good multicoin wallet where you can hold multiple coins like ETH, ETC, LTC and many more than Jaxx can be good alternative for you. Coinbase is just shit because of their hidden terms and condition and downtime during dump and pump.

I agree. The main point I prefer BlockChain it's because it's really decentralized and don't follow any terms and conditions system like Coinbase (Poloniex follows the same way). Both can be "vulnerable" online storage services, but if we need to choose one of them, at least let's make sure we are choosing the best one.

For me there are reasons for both of them that if you will like to join a wallet which will not interfere in any of your transaction then you have to use blockchain because in that wallet you are your own bank and your own boss while in coinbase there will be a number of restrictions.

And the problem in blockchain is that if you lost your password then it is unable to recover your wallet while coinbase account is easily recoverable if you lost your password to your wallet account.

To me coinbase is better than blockchain because you can sell bitcoin and withdraw the money to your bank account.

Would it not be best to store it in an offline wallet until you need to use it? I read coinbase locks up your account without warnings so that's a huge risk.

I would go for the one that I liked the most which is Blockchain.info, I've tried to use and store some of my coin on blockchain wallet before and I can say it is much better in terms of the security and safety of my bitcoin and although I also have an account in coinbase I didn't tried it due to some issues and negative feedbacks about their service . I also don't want the idea of Identity Verification as I am not sure if their service is legally registered here in my country .

You could still recover your blockchain wallet if you have the private key and import that to a different wallet. Another difference between these two is that with a coinbase wallet you don't have access to your funds because you can't get the private keys.

Due to experience lots of excuses from coinbase i think coinbase is the best choice if you really want to use a good online wallet..
These past few weeks or months we are experience of unavailable in coinbase that is really annoying every month or every week we are seeing this issue about the wallet every time we are seen the price is increase sooner coinbase will unavailable reason they are updating the theme of the wallet or fixing the atm issue or any issue that they can be a reason..
Unlike blockchain that if they are experience of issue sooner they can solve the issue. .

Coinbase is having issues too, they are going offline many times in the past days/weeks and I wouldn't recommend to use coinbase because in case you need to make a fast transaction then you will have to wait them to go back online, sometimes the mobile app works better than the website but still you are depended from them, and the tx fees are higher than any other wallet.

That was a good thing that you can get in blockchain than coinbase.. coinbase is always having issue unlike before but this year i seen a lot of issue better to don't use coinbase if you are using a big amount of bitcoin.. it is only good for small transaction and they are not the same before that you can send bitcoin without fee..

Coinbase is shit now, a garbage wallet, if you notice then should know that site always down when pump or dump. May be over population or another reason. Blockchain good rather then Coinbase.

2fa also can apply to coinbase.
I use coinbase more than a year, sometimes I opened at PC and via Android, everything is okay and never got problem. In a just few minutes ago I was sent 0.27 btc and fees only 85k but only 10 minutes got 3 confirmation.

Well blockchain offers an wallet just for btc . Also i had some problems with blockchain , for example i wanted to access my funds from my mobile and after i logg in with my 4 digits pass code , i cant see my funds in my wallet . I sent an email i was very afraid at that time cuz i had lots of bitcoins in my wallet . And they apologized for their bugs
Also another issue was when they put low mining fees . I waited 12 days my transaction to be confirmed on blockchain

So i recommend you coinbase , when you create an account automatically gives btc wallet , ltc and etn
Also you can withdraw any time from coinbase to a credit card .

Same case here. Relation of Coinbase with me more than 3 years. I would remember that Coinbase is my first wallet which through getting started with Bitcoin, until now use it without facing any little problem. And obviously love to tak their service.

I agree with you about Coinbase.  They've gone down with no explanation several times, usually when there is market volatility (when you'd most want access to your cryptos).  That's unacceptable even for a bank.

There are lots of other alternatives for wallets other than these two, and they're free so try out different wallets and see what you like, that fits your needs.

In terms of Web wallet, I'd rather to use blockchain at least they have 2FA feature and keep updating their system to make their system and security better. Also on Blockchain you not need to be afraid for getting blocked because illegal activities while Coinbase could blocked your account for that.

For sell/buy Bitcoin, we have local exchange in here so I don't need Coinbase .

I think coinbase is better than blockchain, this is because the coinbase there is have vault feature so suited to save a huge amount.

You are wrong!

Blockchain.info - you have access to private key.
Coinbase normal wallet/vault - you don't have access to private key, plus 48 hours delay for each transaction.
Coinbase multisig vault - you have access to your private key, plus 48 hours delay. You can also create and sign a transaction using tools such as coinb.in, but it is insecure, unsafe and complicated or hard for users without much knowledge on using them.

In addition, the transaction fee is smaller than blockchain. So, I recommend to use coinbase.

You can set custom fee in Blockchain.info and AFAIK, you can't set custom fee in Coinbase. Correct me if I am wrong!

When I compare all pros and cons, Blockchain.info is better. Vault is also not much better. If you are just looking for a multisig wallet, there are better services/software out there. There are, however, advantage in using Coinbase if you are a frequent trader or if you send off-chain transactions.

Edit: I don't understand how you got "low" transaction fee in Coinbase.

I just tried to send 0.0002 sat but the coinbase give me network fee of 0.0007983 btc that i think its really high for small transaction..
But if you send high amount of bitcoin the network fee are asking the same fee as small transaction.
It is not a good choice if you using coinbase for small transaction but if you are using coinbase for large transaction the network fee is reasonable..
If you want to have fully control with the fee use other wallet instead like multibit HD or electrum they have option to use dynamic fees or either manually input you fee but like other said always check the https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ for transaction speed estimation and what the fee can give you satisfaction..

It is clear blockchain.info is the best and more secure than coinbase, as long as i use bitcoin i only some times use coinbase and i already not used coinbase again before accusation scam to the coinbase is crowded discussed.
