The early coins served different purposes and addressed different issues.  Remember that no one back then saw these days we are in now coming.  .  Many of us coders have put together some software and then had a spinoff idea and run with that, while the first was still out there.

That didn't make either one better, just the way that programmers think. Think about torrent technology.  This was meant to be nothing more than a faster way to transfer files and it became one of the biggest file sharing/stealing protocols out there.

Litecoin is not really better than Bitcoin. It is just a good coin for crypto traders to trade with. And what proof is there that Charlie is Satoshi. I won't start using Bitcoin just because some random dude said that Satoshi is Charlie. Litecoin is much more volatile than Bitcoin. It is just speculation, whilst Bitcoin can actually be used as a currency.

In fact, I actually committed myself to a recent trade with Litecoin. I bought Litecoin at the price of $23. In less than a week, the price rose to $62.50. I made a handy profit. As I said, Litecoin is good for trading, but in real life, it does not have any use.

At this stage LiteCoin is closer to what Satoshi might have envisioned for Bitcoin, because it can be used as a alternative "cash" payment network,

because the fees are much lower and the transactions is much faster. They saw the potential in SegWit and they went for it and it looks like it is

paying off now. I cannot see LiteCoin becoming the de facto Crypto currency, but it will work as a "Cash" payment network. 

This is true, but the momentum of bitcoin is simply too strong, unless bitcoin completely dumps I do not think litecoin is ever going to surpass bitcoin, but I will admit litecoin is way better if you plan to use it similar to cash since confirmations are way faster and the fees are lower.

Do you really think charlie lee will make lots of difference in litecoin you can see the current trend even litecoin going down. Charlie lee one of the developer behind the success of coinbase . coinbase is a trading platform it is not the currency so we have to consider his experience in domain also .

Me too, i look at it that way and besides as of now only bitcoins has available buying and selling method in my country so even i possessed other altcoin if i want to convert it to cold cash i still need to convert it first to btc.

We will never know who he is, and I think we are better off that way, if we knew who he is then the media will crucify him in an attempt to bring down bitcoin that way, if I remember correctly that is a strategy many use, they critique the inventor to try to make it appear the invention itself suffers from the same problems.

Litecoin doesnt has any significant movement, it going up a while and then go down again, so i don't think we can get much profit by investing in litecoin, but the litecoin condition has become better, but still not enough to convince me to dump my bitcoin and change to litecoin

LTC and BTC actually work best when they co-exist together based on the current LTC roadmap. The LTC ecosystem has already been demonstrated to be better at negotiating and reaching consensus than the BTC ecosystem, which gives it the core advantage of being able to  out innovate BTC. Thats not a bad thing for BTC, its actually great.

Under Litecoin's current roadmap, if BTC integrates Segwit and the Lightning Network, they would create an instant coin conversion mechanism from BTC to LTC and vice versa. The practical advantage of this in the real world is huge because it would enable BTC holders to utilize the LTC txns to speed up and lower the cost of moving money, while lowering congestion on the BTC blockchain. One real world example of this would potentially mean that Point of Sale devices in stores would be LTC/BTC interoperable, making both coins fundamentally more usable, and allowing BTC to more readily be usable as a day to day form of payment where people expect transactions to occur in seconds not minutes or hours.

Beyond better real world usage, LTC is also good for BTC from the perspective of keeping the development talent around the LTC/BTC platform as opposed to moving into other altcoins. BTC has been notoriously politicized and slow to innovate. From the perspective of developers this generally means that rather than focusing on implementing innovative code, they get tied down in politics. By having that team work with LTC, they can still implement necessary updates to keep the LTC/BTC ecosystem relevant in a world of fast innovating altcoins, use them to prove concepts prior to them moving on to BTC. This means you keep the talent on the chain, and you keep them engaged.  An example is the introduction of smart contracts utilizing either MAST or DLC (or a combination of the two if my read on the MIT announcement is accurate). These will likely first be introduced in LTC, before being introduced on BTC. This is key for meeting the challenge presented by other altcoins including Eth head on while not compromising BTC security by ring fencing initial innovation in LTC. I'd imagine the BTC community would want that rather than continuing to lose market share to altcoins.

What was missing!,next just need that somebody does the approach that the founder of ETH is Satoshi too rather somebody took that information to try to boost the value of LTC but I do not think it works,LTC seems to be good coin and was created for some purpose although its value will increase in the future,the thing is that there will always be a difference a thing between both: the supply.

Lightcane can not be considered the best at least because it is not equal to bitcoin, and the growth or decline in prices for it directly depends on the validation of bitcoins on the market, the best currency is bitcoin
