BUY high sell low ?

Have done this many times.  I usually don't sell low, but have been stuck in a few coins that I didn't really want to hold because price was rising and I thought it would go higher.  Then I hit that buy button and tank.   

This do happen especially with the altcoins which are very tandem and does not have a good future. Always do research before buying any altcoins especially if they are not the top 10 coins in altcoins list. Do sell if the price is dropping quickly because it may never recover and you will end up with a huge loss in such case. So better to book some loss and buy other good coins.

What sort of research you really want the guy to do? I will suggest him stop wasting time on altcoins if he is and start investing in bitcoins. The bitcoin price is going to decrease a little more and it is better to keep an eye on fluctuating prices. The dip is gonna last a little longer so it is the right time to spend in bitcoins.

Actually, recently Bitcoin market has many fluctuation stronglier than the past. Earn profit from that fluctuation really easy, maybe easy than hard work our primary job outside everyday . Opportunity buy dips price and sell high happening every week.

There's no something wrong if you invest in bitcoin because it is so good as we all know but of course there is no bad things or wrong move too in investing to in altcoin but some of it may take a bad experience so maybe checking on that coin before investing is a must.

If you always buy when the price is high and sell when the price goes down, I'm sure you will experience continuous losses, the core of this trading is patience and do not panic.

If someone is facing this tragedy again and again then I think it will be better for him to give up on trading because definitely it is not for him. However, practically it is impossible. I suggest controlling emotions and excitement a little bit more so that right decisions can be taken.

Emotional control is necessary but I think if anyone is in this case, they should learn more trading knowledge from youtube and professional traders because their skills and experience in trading are still too low, they easily fall into the trap and buy at high prices then sell at low prices. They do not know when they sell at low prices, prices will rise again, I was also in this situation, buy high and sell low, I really feel very scared because I just rely on emotions to buy, I have no experience and knowledge, and I realized I needed to learn more, trading was not simple, it needed a lot of experience and skills.

Sometimes buying high and selling low is the best choice you can make. Analysis of signals is all well and good, but no one can 100% reliably predict the future. I use a trading dashboard with 5 EMAs tracking the trends, as well as MACD and parabolic SAR indicators; this morning I set a limit buy for 3% below the current market price, which seemed like a safe target for the bottom of a bear run based on the trends. It turned out not to be; luckily I was around while it was happening and was able to make the judgment call to sell a further 1.5% down. In the hour since this happened, I've traded the swings and turned my 1.5% loss into a 1% profit; had I held on, I would now be down 4% pending further fluctuation. Even if the market recovers, by buying high and selling low I've managed to put myself in a better position to buy in again. Sometimes you just need to recognize that the market has taken you by surprise and cut your losses in order to retain liquidity and take advantage of further price drops. Speaking of which, in the time I was typing this it's down another .5%... it seems like it might well continue. I'll have to see, and regardless I should have the opportunity to buy in again at a lower price than my original sale.

Panic sellers selling at below buying price. Price maybe down at one point but its not going to stay there for for a long time.

How to control this? First of all it is the users fault because he's too emotional when it comes to trading. He should've ask some professional traders first or read some information on how to trade carefully and successfully without messing around and doing some random stupid stuff. They should learn their lessons first before they enter to any trading scheme.

Take your time analysing the white paper, and the MVP if there is one. Nowadays a lot of companies don't have sufficient maturity and would probably die months later.

For people who have weak hands, mostly cases will be buy high and sell low.
Trading altcoins isn't for newbies, even for experienced traders may lose in this activities.
For you who wants to learn about trading, better to start with bitcoin, buy and sell it for cash.
Your intuition will grow better as time goes on and you can get into trading altcoins.

What differentiates trading from gambling is that it takes time...it is not a get-rich-quick scheme. So, if you're new to trading and no proper education on how to trade then you will lose a lot. There are plenty of tutorials online (one is youtube.com) that you can download to educate your yourself and enforce your knowledge. Once you're ready you may start to trade with a small amount and please keep in mind this saying, "Trade Only What You Can Afford To Lose".

Well of course, price will not stay there for a long time, it will fluctuate no matter what and it's just a matter of time.
People who panics are the one who doesn't trust their coins as well as the crypto world even the old ones here are not used to the fluctuations like they're easily swayed by the whales.

Its not business when you buy high and sell low its better for them to give their money to charity foundations. Normally and basically in trading you must buy at low and sell at high price don't let your emotion dictate what to do have some patience and trust to where you investing. Have some research to be able to know if you really need to sell your asset or not. Just focus on selling it at it's high price. Don't  give up that easy.

That's why you will always read here " weak hands have been shaken", referring for those investors specially newbies that easily panic during the dip and easily sell their coins because they fear that they are going to lose their investments. For me, it should be the other way around, you should not sell but instead buy in this dips to add more coins in your wallet. I admit, that in the beginning, I was also like that, so I learn from lessons well and I'm not shaken but this panic sell because I fully trusted that bitcoin can recover immediately and even the price will go stronger previously.

I agree, we have to control our emotion, that strategy is so simple but its work. So many people buy bitcoin so the fund that into it is higher and higher. One thing that we have to keep in mine is believe that the price of bitcoin is alway go up.

Real. "Buy low, sell high" has anyone done this good? But I think most traders actually do the opposite. They only calculate when to buy and when to buy when the price is down.
You will not simply be happy and have things too far-fetched, but use fair and good judgment.

The best quality of a trader is to have patience. If you have patience and can track the market very closely, you are most likely to win at every trade. Crypto prices are heavily dynamics and doesn't have co-relation with the real-world market. So you will have to think strategically and need to have patience.

If you are not making profit from a particular trade but you are sure about the potential of a particular currency. Simple wait for longer time for the price to get back on track. That may be one day or 10 days. There is no compulsion, so sell it after 10 days if possible, but have patience. Trading is a place to make quick profits, but patience can reward you suitably as well.

many of us is getting trap by bad news or wrong trend like you said and they are panic when the price is not like what they want. this is why we need to analyze the movement and if we can't, then we need to learn how to analyze in many sites or video. don't just believe from what other traders said because sometimes they are make mistakes too and also the market can not be always we predicted.

Some how right. If the price of bitcoin is reduced to low value or lower price. You may brought the bulk of bitcoin,with out thinking about the future price. But while investing you should keep in mind. You should not depend on that invested money for the period of two to three years.
