Emotions emotions emotions! Impossible to get rid of them... maximum you can do is to learn to control them. Sometime I make the same mistake even though i'm not a novice trader. But i'm still working on myself

My advice (what's working for me).... write your set of trading rules on a piece of paper and stick it somewhere in front of you!!! Sounds stupid, but works. At a minimum you should three things.
1. where you will fix your profit (i'd say the profit potential should be at least twice as big as the loss you are willing to tolerate).
2. where you will fix your loss (do not less losses run).
3. reason for entering a trade (make sure the reason is not an emotional factor).

... and stick to your piece of paper!!!

When you have experience more than one year then this emotion kind of thing don’t bother investor and still you are new that’s why you are facing these panicking problem and soon as you will become more confident this habit will leave you just stick to your strategy and have faith in bitcoin that it will not let you down and all the dreams will come true and try to buy at low and sell at high this will give you more profit.

It is a hard habit to give up, if it is easy, no one is loser and there is no trader has profits or loss, haha. By the bad skills, other traders can be better than newbie or those who can not keep calm and patient to earn profits.

How many times do you hear that? Buy Low Sell High? but what happened? Newbies still didn't understand this old mantra because they are too emotional and complaining that they are not earning and quit trading for good. A good example is the Bitcoin Cash wave, there's a lot of newcomers who thought that Bitcoin Cash will gonna explode that's why they bought it as a high price of $2000, but what happens next is beyond believed to them. Bitcoin Cash plummeted together with their dreams. Now they have no options but to keep their money in the market just to break even. Some may even have gotten out and accept the losses. If they just follow this old mantra that has been guided many successful traders for years, they won't suffer the consequences.

It seems like every book you read about investing contains the tip to "buy low and sell high." When you think about it, this sounds like great advice. Thats the basic rule "buy low,  sell high" but actually this rule is sometimes doesnt follow.  As to panic in trading,  if they see that their cryptos is decreasing their value,  it doesnt matter if they sell it without much profit.  Or if they have this signals  that this one cryptos will be increasing they will panic buy,  eventhough it has a great price.  Maybe you can call this as what this thread all about "buy high, sell low"

No wonder why a lot of newbie traders lose a lot of money because of panic. It is indeed that "Buy low and Sell High" is the golden rule of trading/investing, but normally we can't avoid emotional distress due to fake news spreading around the industry. In times of such scenario, a lot of inexperience trader tend to forget to do their homework. We all know that trading needs a lot of work, time, effort, patience, and planning. No matter how good your platform is, but you can't control your emotions then it's useless.

Having this mistakes once or twice is reasonable because you just starting to experiment techniques on trading. Doing such a thing all the time ? Maybe you have a lot of money to lose and trading for you is just like a game. You can avoid this by using analysis on the data or chart it is projected. Why buy when you see that the price is dropping continuesly. Be patient also to wait until it increase same or greater than the price when you buy it to avoid losses. Just keep on studying.

If you are an investor this is the simple investment process you should follow and not the signal send to you every day on twitter. Buying low and sell high should be what you should follow and you will never burn your hands. Many has lose money and their hard earned money by misunderstanding investment in crypto market and trading. I did that when I starting trading but later I learnt its good to HODL dieing altcoins than to sell low.

Trading is not profitable for everyone. Trading needs really a lot of hard work and patience. You need to listen to news on regular basis to stay updated moreover there are series of articles  by experts that are meant to be read by trader for gaining best trading tips. I am also in favor of holding coins then trading with them especially when the coin is bitcoin. The altcoins can be used for trading.

Trading wouldn't be profitable if someone is not going to be serious once he entered the gambling world. Trading is all about analyzing and predicting the price of the token that you are holding, if you are not going to pay attention on the market, then I'm sure that you have to quit Trading if you don't want to lose more of your money because of your behavior.

I think what is happening here is they panic. As you have mentioned they are just newbies. Therefore, they don't have any idea how bitcoin or altcoins really work. So, we need to guide them as well, particularly whenever the price of bitcoin drops down, because that's when they tend to panic and sell at a low price.

Thats something many new traders happen. im also a newbie trader. But what i learned right in the beginning is, that i must have patience. So i always waiting for a dump bevor i invest in btc. Sometimes it takes days or weeks before i can invest in btc. But thats the safest way to dont lose money.

That is the reason why they called noobs. It is a process how you become expert. If you made mistake today, bought high and sold less. This will teach you two things for tomorrow. One is make worthy choice with full inspection and other is be patient with your choice. Thus gradually you could come up as mature trader.

Indeed. "Buy low, sell high" sounds very simple doesn't it? But I think most traders actually do the opposite. They often buy in when the crypto is on the rise, and sell in on the way down.

How do you control this? Plan your trades. Decide on and set a certain price where you're planning on buying. Don't let your emotions take control of you.

Also, be active on bitcoin news. There are tons of websites that can provide that. Google is your friend. 

I can confirm that I bought bitcoin cash when it was at 2100 lol a few hours later it went up some more and crashed within 5min to 1400 lol
i lost almost half my money with that mistake and lesson learned never ride the wave when it already started

I jumped on way too late and eventually the wave crashed back down with me.

See, you should have go around this forum and see what really going up before jumping onto something. Did you really think that bitcoin cash will take over the market? Its indeed a hard lessons for you sir because people how have bought it also lost big chunks of money specially like you who bought it at top price.

You should stick to bitcoin and buy your money with it, right now bitcoin is going up. You could have make a decent profit. For the news, there nothing that can beat our old forum here. There are too much knowledgeable members here. But just be careful because some of them are just spreading fake news. Just look at their previous post and you will know if they really intelligent enough to make such bold predictions.

Yes it is all about the circumstances which favor you the most. If you have bitcoin in your wallet and you need money for your financial problems and needs then you will have to sell your bitcoin rather keep them in your wallet because money is for a comfortable life and not only for savings? Then you will not look at the price high or low. Easiness must be the main thing in life without getting panic and upset.

Buy high and sell low is one of the best strategies that you can use in order to make profit in trading. There are now many people who became successful because of that technique.

Buy high and sell low is really just dumb if traders just do it because they get scared of loss or just because they don't have more faith left in that project. If there is a legit reason or any other personal problem for selling off that coin or token is kind of understood. But just doing it out of fear is not a good decision, cause in the first place the trader should have had researched about the coin and then only invest when there is full satisfaction that the particular project might be a great hit. Or else the loss he suffered should be enough to teach him some lessons and help him to become an expert trader in the future!
