I don't have an idea, it's hard to predict regarding this but anything can possible to happen. Some says it will be on a pumping scenario, other says it will make other investors jump to other alt coin. But on my opinion it will happen possibly at $10k but who knows let's wait for the upcoming days.

SegWit is not going to magically bring adoption and more adoption will lead to real bigger rise. what activation of SegWit means is that all the drama will end, we get a decent scaling solution and the way to a lot more improvement will become easy such as implementation of LN and lots of other things. and that can help with the adoption. but it still needs much more than that. such as regulation like Japan, merchant adoption,...

It is  conceivable for me for crypto to be at least 2 trillion or 1/4 the current market cap of gold. This would make bitcoin at least 20 times what its worth now, so 50K. I don't know the timeline, but would say 10K would be reasonable in this scenario with 5 years. I predict new generation will take to crypto as store of value and general purpose use currencies. If crypto is a fad (possible, I may be too optimistic) then I can see bitcoin trading below $100, but I think there will always be diehards and blockchain technology is improving so it will be worth something.  On the wildly optimistic but possible side, crypto could take over much of the net wealth stored in other instruments in seismic shift and prices can rise to extraordinary levels.  One thing is for sure, I no longer plan to leave the blockchain crypto world either financially (or as a hobby) after experiencing it; so its like Hotel California, you can check in but do not check out, and I suspect it is like this for many.

That's a very long period of time, buddy. We do not know what will happen to bitcoin within 5 years, but as far as I know when it happens segwit will have a potent impact on bitcoin prices. I'm sure the prices will tend to increase in 5 years. Maybe this will reach $ 7,000 upwards. But I do not know whether segwit will have long or short impact on bitcoin growth.

At least $10000 probably closer to $15000 to $20000 on the moderate view and aggressively $25000 to 35000
By then though there should be various aggressive currency baskets people have and trade with and a bunch of sidechain coins people use for trading while BTC acts as a movement item sort of eth like.

Even before segwit into effect the price is quite good and the ongoing price increase too is more than what people expected. So when the segwit gets activated we may get the price doubled. Maybe if the price is expected to be around 10000$ in 5 years time, now with segwit it might be around $15000 to $20000.

That's possible, $10,000 is a good target to be reached and it's not a dream, I highly hope that bitcoin will rise at the end of this year.

More and more things need to be fixed in the bitcoin infrastructure and this will push the value of bitcoin into another level.

bitcoin is currently on a good path with the SegWit support from the miners on one side and also the legalization of bitcoin in multiple countries we can expect a good rise. and as more merchants start accepting bitcoin we can slowly see the effects of adoption and the real price rise.

so the 10K$ is no longer like a far away target as it was a couple of years ago. people are starting to know and trust bitcoin as an investment or as a currency to use.

$10k will just be the start of the rise!
with lightning network the price will start rising as fast as lightning.
we are currently stuck behind a very long debate which has stalled the rise of bitcoin. if we had Seg Wit then the Japan news about mass adoption would have had a very different effect and price would have already reached $4000

the price of the bitcoin will possibly pump over $10k in 2021 so in 2022 i think it will be $10200 we don't know yet but this is the most possible price in terms of other big investors here in bitcoin . they also saying that bitcoin price could pump and go to a $1M price per bitcoin and when i saw it on social network i was overwhelmed on bitcoin power.
