For me, I think, a peaceful country is non-existent. We must be always ready for anything in any place we are in. The terrorists don't choose a place where they will attack, they just attack wherever and whenever theg want. All we have to do is to be alert  and to stay safe.

Perhaps the most peaceful country is Iceland, because it has almost perfect democratic levels, gender equality and very low crime rates.

Slovenia and Iceland. Switzerland and Austria maybe. What is the criteria? Number of wars in last 100 years? Although some countries fought wars in the past but nowadays they are peaceful.

I think the peacefull county are greenland because they will not be contested by the big country, there is no superior commodity in that ice country.

The case with Iceland is very similar to that of New Zealand. These nations are peaceful, because the immigrant hordes are unable to reach these islands due to their remoteness. But the situation is changing, as the Muslim population is increasing in both these nations.

We may see really bad numbers right now, but this are all preparation for the future.
Just like cryptocurrencies it could always have a downside but someday its gonna have a better result...

Because they are always saying that during his presidency the crime rates increased.

It's a well studied list. But I think it's still not perfect as Japan, Australia and Bhutan should be way lower than where they are.

The war on drugs could have only made the Philippines a safer place. From what I have read from the media, the crime rate has decreased ever since the anti-drugs campaign started, with a noticeable decline seen for homicides and kidnappings.

For me, I don't think that there is still a peaceful country because of what happening in the whole world. In all country, there is a crime that is happening in everyday. Especially in Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, South Sudan, and Yemen where you can found no peace because of the crimes. But according to researchers, even there is a low and high crime rate in some country they give the most peaceful country which are Iceland, New Zealand, Portugal, Austria, and Denmark. We  can achieved a peaceful country if we help each other to avoid problems.

Everyone living on an island is pretty safe, Ireland, Iceland, just to name a few.

As soon as I saw the question, Switzerland came to my mind. I lived there for 3 years for school. It was very peaceful and clean. My friends and I, walked outside at night, we didn't feel dangerous. But we still be cautious. Because it was too peaceful, sometimes it was boring too. lol

i think switzerland really is the most peaceful country. i dreamt to travel and reach that place someday
