HI guys, Im running 5 rigs in a corner room, temps do get hot. I left three windows open and the rigs are very close to them. are there any issues with open rig mining near windows, especially when it rains? the rain cant come in but will air moisture be an issue or will the heat dry the air out?

on a side note, will 6 x 1250 ocz psu's running 5870 cards be an issue for my power system. I dont want to cause a fire. I was told its all about amps, my fuse box says not more than 100 amps, so far the 5 rigs, three plasmas a few other small appliances and normal things like lights fridge and washing machine have been fine for the last 48 hours.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

If you are sure rain can't get in, then you'll be fine! As for the wiring, I would have some dedicated lines ran off the fuse box! Normal plugs are rated @ 15A or 1800w. I doubt you are maxing those PSUs, So you should only run a max of 2 off a circuit!

Running next to open windows won't do much.  But if you put in some window fans and set them to blow inside when its cold outside, or vice versa, then you really start to control your heat.
