I believe more and more countries will be starting to consider accepting bitcoins as a mode of payment for goods and services, this would surely result in a huge demand for bitcoins in the future and it might cause bitcoin price to rise higher. But bitcoin still need to solve the problem which are slow transaction speed and high miners fees to encourage more users to use bitcoins for purchasing small items.

Not only bitcoin can be accepted, but also some altcoins are already accepted as a payment method. Like OneCoin, which already exist in a lot of countries.Has a lot of merchants and they are using it at the moment to make some transactions for their goods Wink

I heard a lot about Onecoin, but I'm not still buying it. It could be more country will accept bitcoin as payment scheme, but I believed we are still years behind from it. Unstable price, high transaction fees and slow confirmation are the reason that we won't see it happening in the near future. Bitcoin now is not for micro payments. Its beginning to used as investment instrument or even store of value.

https://qz.com/1009386/bitcoin-accepted-here-the-tiny-family-restaurant-in-india-thats-embraced-virtual-currency/

The government of India is nearing to accept bitcoin in their country as a mode of payment. With that upcoming adoption small merchants are now thinking to accepts bitcoin as a form of payment in exchange for their goods.

But even without the governments declaration  the Suryawanshi restaurants in Bengaluru’s Indiranagar and Whitefield neighbourhoods  accepts bitcoin as payment. The reason why this small store accepts bitcoin is due to the owner who is a bitcoin enthusiasts and was accepting bitcoins since 2013.

With the governments move, soon many small merchants will be following Suryawanshi's example.

It is a very wise decision. Accepting Bitcoin as a mode of payment when their government is in the process of legalizing Bitcoin in their country. It is just like the old saying, "the early bird catches the worm." With their early move, when the time comes and the Bitcoin was officially legalized in India, they will surely greatly benefit from it.

this is why i believe regulations are going to be good for bitcoin. it simply leads to a lot of real adoption. and we have already seen it with Japan and how their regulations led to many merchants accepting bitcoin. and the same will be true about other countries.
I am yet not sure about these adoption thing could boost bitcoin, lets talk about this six months from now and see how things are changing with these new rules and regulations by the government and whether it is creating any issues for the regular users and so on.

Wow that is actually a very good step towards the evolution of bitcoin. I am surprised to see that India is taking part in the bitcoin so enthusiastically. This is just very much the thing every small and large businesses should do. This will increasing bitcoin capitalisation a lot. I don't about government and what it thinks about this but it will be a good decision if government starts supporting this concept. India is top most populated company and if everyone starts investing in bitcoin then it could lead to historical event for India and block chain technology. All the best to that fellow and hope to see more people in coming days.

With the upcoming legalization of Bitcoin in India, accepting Bitcoin now is a great idea. Many people will be able to know that they are already accepting Bitcoin as a mode of payment and when the legalization was officially made, I think that more people will come to their restaurant and pay in Bitcoin since many already knew that they accept Bitcoin. It is their quick form of advertisement that they accept in Bitcoin. Clever.

Very brillant news are coming from India for the adoption of bitcion usage. I hope that this will maintain in the future too.
