Im afraid that would be happen since people's mindset about it is unto 50/50 some of people are been afraid for this time to come and there are some speculators think positively unto it but the thing we need to do here is to wait on what would be the outcome to the price when the date will occur. Hope theirs no massive dump will be happen since all of us will surely lose some profits with massive downfall.

Yeah nobody knows for sure about bitcoin price after segwit. But I'm sure the application of a segwit on bitcoin will have a positive impact on bitcoin in terms of security, faster transactions etc, and I'm sure after segwit a prices of bitcoin will continue to increase, because I've read in an article that says bitcoin prices will reach $4000 . I also do not know if this is hoax or not, but we just wait.

Bitcoin will achieve more than $10k  after years that will passed. We might see 10k in price of bitcoin after 2 years.  And another 5 years were now at 20k. $100k would be the last price of bitcoin i guess.

In the last 6 months bitcoin has doubled in its value, bitcoin rose from $968 at the end of December last year and now it’s being traded around $2,500. Now estimation about when bitcoin will reach $10,000 is very easy to do from here.

This will at most take 3-4 years, if we comparing to all the other online currencies or even regulated currencies bitcoin is obviously doing better than all of them. People who are holding because they don’t need to spend the coins are going to become millionaires in coming years.

Hope you have heard about the situation we are going through as we will be having a upgrade in network in the next few months and if everything goes according to plan then we might have a faster network and i do think it will change and will have a rally before December,just hoping for the best,but i do not expect ten thousand dollar any time soon.

Op you are getting a little bit ahead of the game, lets first get to a stable 3k before we try to make it to 10k, it is just a matter of common sense, I think we are going to reach an stable price over 3k after segwit gets activated, and then in the next halving we are going to get a stable 5k so to me the 10k mark is very far away.

I think no matter how the situation is resolved on August 1, the bitcoin price will not be in the next few months (or even years) at the level of $ 10,000. This is a very high cost for bitcoin now

Yes I agree, there is nothing that can guarantee bitcoin will continue to rise, so when I feel profitable then I immediately sell. Several times the bitcoin price reaches $ 2900 but it's hard to reach $ 3000, the $ 10,000 price may take another 2 years or more.

Still no clarity on the situation in India. It is not clear whether the government is going to legalize it or not. Already, many of the officials have said that Bitcoin is having a negative influence in the form of tax evasion and use in ransom demands. They may or may not legalize BTC. But even if they legalize BTC, the tax is going to be very heavy.

Bitcoin prices doubled in 2017 so far but as of now market situation is seeming as mixed trend like not finding the trend for further movement. Waiting for segwit activation by August 1st might be the reason.

Regardless of what is going to happen after activation, I believe we can see prices will be rallying toward $10k ranges because everyone want higher prices and the reasons are not significant. Whales will pump and new investors will join. That's all, $10k will be definite possible.

Good luck to the Indian government when trying to enforce that, laws can say whatever they want but that does not mean the laws can be enforced, look at the war on drugs, look at all the money spent, the resources, all the people in jail and drug usage instead of being down is up.
