Good Evening Community,

I've got recently an asic from a friend. So i'm trying to set it up for me. I've spend the whole week every evening, but I will not work as intended. I want to set it up as a solominer on altcoins. I know some are the time and electricity not worth, but I want to get into that cryptoworld and make my expirence's. To let the asic work on a pool, or even use a gpu for mining is no problem and works. Smiley

As far as I've read, I would need to download the wallet with the blockchain as well as bfgminer to establish an communication in between the asic and the wallet. The asic I have is an KNC Titan, and the coin I've choosen for my experiment is Sexcoin. Let's go into detail.

I've tried to set it up according this post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1291032.0

The conf file in the coin folder got added with those value's

Quote
rpcuser=User
rpcpassword=x
rpcallowip=localhost
rpcallowip=192.168.1.*
rpcport=9874
port=3333
daemon=1
server=1
gen=0

I've downloaded bfgminer and created an *.bat file

Quote
bfgminer -o localhost:9874 -u User -p x --stratum-port=3333
pause

The wallet I've started with cmd and added -server, in the mining tab I've added

Quote
Server: localhost
Port:9874
Username:User
Password:x

The computer with the wallet has the IP 192.168.1.5 and the miner 192.168.1.10.

The Miner has following setting's

Quote
Server: stratum+tcp://192.168.1.5:3333
Username:User
Password:x

But the miner can't connect to the Computer. Where is my error?

Thanks a lot for your help in advance Smiley
