Hi there guys, nice to see BCF back up and running !!! Ive just tried to download the QT wallet for staking but is stating a Trojan Virus and stops the download ?? Can you advise me what to do from here  Best of luck with the project and do you not have a Twitter Page yet as im thinking of doing one to push this out to the public more....

the wallet does have a bitcoin miner in it - that is what runs the pos (staking) and long ago it was used hen you could cpu mine this coin
older wallets also have irc routines  - that's how they use to find someone to connect to when you first start the wallet.

you can use something like http://virustotal.com to check programs for virus/trojans

one of my posts from last August:
just out of curiosity - I downloaded a fresh bitcoin wallet from bitcoin.org and sent it to virus total:

fyi - there will be a new mandatory wallet update coming out soon.
it will fix the pos (staking).
Seems the original dev didn't separate out the pow from the pos difficulties.
so when a pos block was found, it's difficulty was compared to the last block and adjusted - so if the last block was a pow - the difficulty would be adjusted up to closer match.

this means the pos difficulty, which is usually less than 1 - has been jacked up, and following the pow difficulty.
- not right!

This explains why the staking of BitcoinFast has always been screwy.

Besides correcting the pos portion of the wallet, I'll be lowering the txfees also.

The plan is to have the new wallet out in a few days (or several days) giving enough time for cryptopia and the pools to be on the new wallet by the fork date of the new year (GMT)
Being that there are still some wallets out there that haven't updated since the last fork (that fixed the issue with pow), I will include a way to block the older wallets.
after this upcoming fork, the older wallets won't be able to connect to the network.
 - hopefully the owners of said wallets will start looking around for answers to them not being able to connect.

With a newly designed website, pow and pos repaired and working properly - I think it will be time to add some new exchanges and rock this puppy

What new web site?
Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at bitcoinfast.co. 
If that address is correct, here are three other things you can try:

    Try again later.
    Check your network connection.
    If you are connected but behind a firewall, check that Firefox has permission to access the Web.
I am using firefox 57.0.2 (64-bit)

well thats not the only seach engine to not find it , so its not me

even the http://bcf.altcoinwarz.com:3003/ does not work? wanted to see how many coins are around?
anyone tell me whats up as I do have a lot of coins invested here?
