depends on many things so we can't really tell right now.
for example if the SegWit (in other words the scaling solution) is delayed more and things get stalled again we may see some more rise but small.
if it goes through and finally gets activated properly (meaning with majority support) then there will be a big price rise and $5000 becomes a possibility.
if things get out of hand and we end up with a chain and community split then there is a good chance we see a big drop instead.

Everything is uncertain, the price might even go high or just will decrease. Looking the recent price fluctuations I believe the price increase will take place crossing $3000 and to the minimum it might reach close to $3500 at least by the year end. $5000 is a possible one, but the time period to reach the end of the year is low.

Traders get in and then they get out, that has a neutral affect on supply and demand. And it's the relationship between supply and demand that drives price up or down.

Now, could the price go to $5000, yes. Will it be due to day traders, no. It'll be due to the influx of new buy and hodlers.

Yeah right, I also think the same as you. Too much I think for bitcoin could reach $ 5,000 this year, if a segwit comes it only helps the price to rise up to $ 4,000. And I'm sure there will be correction several times so the price drops several times in the short term. But looking at the previous situation that bitcoin is very difficult to predict and anything can happen to bitcoin. If indeed the bitcoin price could reach $ 5,000 in this year of course it would be very incredible. But I think the chances are very small to reach $ 5,000.

There's a pretty damn strong correlation though.  Rising volume indicates that there's an increasing amount of hype which usually means that there will be a breakout one way or another.  In the midst of a bull market, there's not much chance of increasing volume being bearish.

I'm sure prices of bitcoins will reach to 20000+ but I don't think it will happen like what you mentioned above. In this year it may go 3000+ but I don't think it will go to 5000 range. That is like another 100% up from current price. If it goes so much high in short time then it will correct back a lot so I want to a slow and study growth.

Its could possibly touch $5000. However, we also know how unpredictable the price of bitcoin is. To push to this price, another good news should come along to the bitcoin ecosystem. I don't know how Australia will impact the price of bitcoin in July 1. But what most worry me, is the Segwit2x activation on Aug 1. We don't know if this will push the price or the other way around.

it's always about rising so high to the moon or dropped so hard to the death ,
that's why some people still considering bitcoin as a dangerous investment ,
a super high risk investment that couldn't done by non tech savvy ,
i even still have a lot of doubt in bitcoin , that's why i put a little amount only to make it safe.

For now no signal that the price could be hit at $5,000 and much more possibility to hit the price this year is around $3,000 to $3,500 value but many people are still afraid like other said about this coming event on 1st of august..
We will expect of price drop since other holders are satisfied with small profit or those people who are selling are the old bitcoin holders and satisfied what the price today. .

Yes you are right that bitcoin price can not hit 5000$ at the end of this year because $5000 is very high price and  I also think the bitcoin price will not boost up in short time its price will increasing step by step and to me I think its price will be increasing 3500$ at the end of December in this year.

As Bitcoin is completely speculative anything could happen. In my view the upcoming weeks price growth helps us predict whether the price increase high to reach $5000 by the year end or just stabilize. By July month end if we were staying above $3000, can hope we'll reach $5000 by the end of 2017.
