How could russia react if all it's allies started to drop dead worldwide?

LOL. Which allies are you exactly referring to? I still see Iran on its feet. Assad is still in power (albeit ruler of ashes). Russia is far from beaten. I'd say things are only starting to get more interesting.

China and india vicious elements see this disintegration of russia because of it s support to assad the murderer as the first step in the coming expansion... russians rather than integrate themselves with the mercantile empire, prefer to isolate themselves in fighting for the wealth of russia. What's with all this hoorah over Russia falling? Last time I checked, it is not outmaneuvered yet. It still have a many cards up its sleeve. Just recently there were calls from within EU governments calling new sanctions against Russia as counterproductive. Not surprising, after all, it's Russia, not the US, that supply energy to Europe.

Russia have a large military, and not to mention, cultural clout in parts of Europe. We are heading towards a more multipolar world, with power split between the US and countries like Russia and China. US can no longer be called sole superpower. That its soft power virtually disappeared overnight after electing Trump (who world leaders openly ridicule) doesn't help too.

A Sino-Russian alliance will be more formidable and powerful than any alliance the Americans or the other NATO members can put together. Russia is one of the leaders in defense technology, and China provides them the manpower.
