Anyone Made 100X Profit from Altcoin Investment

I've contributed in ICO november 2016 price was €0,014

if I would sell in june 2017 price was €1,0 (unfortunately I've sold a month sooner for €0.11)

so it is more than 70x for a period of just 7 months

Actually, the responses in here have got me wondering: is there any place which has a track record for all the alts, especially ICO launches? Price at ICO or distribution versus current price, and all-time high. This might be a way to show people that most people lose money for the chance at a good x100 and that in the end, it is probably not worth it?

i think a 100x of making profit in altcoin investment is impossible, or maybe it really takes a lot of time, but i know someone that made a 100% not a 100x profit in altcoin investment, because 100x is something really difficult to do.

I actually did have decent return.

Long story short:
I had ETH and XRP on my Kraken account, more than a year ago. like 15 months ago.
worth 15k
hackers stole all of it (almost all) by selling them for BTC and transferring out.
however, to be fast they just typed in the round number. 400000 XRP sold for BTC.
and some ETH.

they left the non round stuff behind.
Back then worth almost nothing.

2 months ago I log in, I see ETC and ETH, and XRP.
Total worth about 5k Dollars.

So, I actually would have made 30x on the ETH and 60x on the XRP. I still did, just on the roundings

If not stolen, I would have probably ~500k $ now.
But again, I would have sold well before now, to cash. so not realistic to expect this imho.

So far I never reach yet a 100% profit. For sure it will need years to have that.
But some I read here have reach this and Oh I envy them.
Maybe if I buy mine 5 years ago, it will be. Like the rate is so low that you can actually manage to buy a lot of it.
I was thinking that maybe I invest in some altcoin that are just starting but have a lot of potential to survive in the future so I can have a good profit out of it. However, for sure I'll need to study more of them.

I have only made 2-3x on altcoin trading which isnt too good but isnt too bad either. How do i wish to hit up 100x on altcoin trading thats why as a trader i do keep searching for potential coins that would really give me this kind of profits. I dont still lose hope and would fine some.

Made about 50X on ETH. Bought in at $7 back in late 2016. But didn't buy enough. One of my friends got into Bitcoin, but I thought I missed the boat.. That ETH earning is what is funding my current alt coin trading. I've made a decent amount...mostly  all on pure luck. Looking for that one coin that excites me.

I've made 700-800% Waves and Lisk and counting (downwards at this moment).
Some of my early ETH buys were also good and the same with Monero. (Good means tenfold rise.)
Of course Rome wasn't built in a day, so it took more than a year to make these percents.

Still BTC was my best investment from zero to $2400-2500 in five-six years .

Ah thank you for this. This is useful... just that it is a rather short list of 20 ICOs and only a handful launched this year. Also it does not list any (except Bancor) that has negative ROI. My intent was to see objectively if we could determine whether if you just got into ICOs, would you on average make or lose money?

But i lost x100 a few times. I bought risky shit coins and had to sold them for a few sats  . I guess the ones that i bought those shit coins from, these guys made 100x profit

It's not impossible, we know there are a lot of altcoins which already increased more than 100x from their price. Example, Ripple coin and XEM, both of them were really underpriced and these coin were reached their peak at 24000 sat for XRP and 12k for XEM.

With new ICOs so overpriced you will be waiting 5 years for a decent return.

Many of them don't even have products yet so it's 2 years development time minimum.

I agree with your observation because it now takes 2 years to get 100x profit.
Because of the very tight competition and the number of spam coins that are getting more and more day.

What the fuck?  You see that as some kind of moderate return?  What stock or asset have you ever bought which got even two times profit in that time?  Have you even heard of a bear market?

I agree with the observations because now takes 2 years to get 100 x profit.
Because the competition is very tight and the number of coins spam getting more and better time so a lot of people try his luck with her
