Currently I'm experimenting solo alt coin mining, but I have 1 question.

For example cgminer is showing diff of 283K for BBQchain, but in block explorer difficulty is around 4k? Same thing is if I mine ChinaCoin?

Is this just cgminer display glitch or it is mining at wrong difficulty?

Thanks in advance

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Scrypt difficulty is converted in cgminer. Actual difficulty is the shown value divided by 2**16 (65536).

I'm currently developing an experimental social AI platform

why is scrypt difficulty not converted when poolmining in cgminer then ??

ahhahahhahahahahhhaa

cgminer will not submit anything below that *65536 number. means you need to do *65536 more work then needed when solomining before it even will consider submitting the hashes.

it only means one thing really, write your own miner.
