Seems like a fair old shittonne of money to drop for a whole years wait!

Yield seems to be about $950/month

Could almost get two gpu rigs up and running for that much... (if you can get the gpus of course haha)

So is anyone actually thinking of dropping a preorder?

I'm geting one. ai think the 12 month lead time is conservative, to give Obelisk some cushion in case of (un)expected delays.

950 is about what it would yield at current prices, but if it appreciates after the ASICs are on board, the amount of machines mining would be steqdy. First batch users would in effect have a mining monopoly, until the next batch...

Just my humble opinion. It could definitely go south for any number of reasons. Certainly its the most speculative hardware I'm pursuing. Whatever happens, I'll post my experience.
