Got a MSi H270 TOMAHAWK ARCTIC mobo
Got 4 gtx gpu working great, go to add 5th one and windows won't see it.
In BIOS looking at the explorer it shows 5 x nvidia gpu connected.
Can't work out why would the BIOS show them but windows 10 can't pick them up?
Have enabled 4G encoding and set to Gen1, have tried Gen2 but same.

Have a M.2 card thought I try that but only way to enable it is to enabled Raid and then windows doesn't load.

Any ideas on how to get windows to see it? or would a ubuntu based OS pick them up better? Been thinking about simpleminingOS.

Cheers

I use nvoc and smOS, both are great..smOS fees get a little annoying but still great remote software,..Could be a win10 issue, why I personally use smOS and nvOC both Linux based. I've used mac and pc's my whole like but every rig I own runs ubuntu. No issues over here.

nvOC has the whole Ubuntu OS on it and lets you operate just as if you did a win10 install + mining software..
nvOC also has updated drivers, it's just really great software by FullZero, recently released a version 'rxOC' for amd series cards.

doesn't sound like a hardware problem -risers/cables..

If 4g enable, stay in G1, ill tell you G2 won't do the trick only cause more problems.

If I were you i'd give nvOC/rxOC a shot.
