Hi guys,

If you would have 10.000 Euro/Dollar to spend, which coins/tokens/ico's would you choose.

Would you take the 10K and buy just one, if so which one would you choose?
Would you diversify in say 10 x 1000 ?
Or would you do different % in different coins/tokens/ico's ?

I'm looking into the market (not saying I would spend the 10K atm) but there is so many atm it's pretty difficult to make a right choice.

I like to read the topics, and see all the different idea's of all of you guys.
Feel free to show your strategy in how would you spend the 10.000

My idea would be this atm:

1000 on NEM
1000 on RIPPLE
1000 on SIACOIN
1000 on IOTA
1000 on GOLEM
1000 on STEEM
1000 on DIGYBITE
1000 on ARK
1000 on BAT
1000 on SYNEREO

The coins I have chosen are pretty cheap, compare with btc/eth  the reason I choose these is that you can still get a nice amount of coins for your 1000 (in my case) and I think that these coins have a nice potential to get some nice ROI

I already own a few others therefore I choose these as my new pick if I would have the 10K to spend.

All your ICO coins are gonna be worthless.

SIA is a very good one, although I am still looking at it thoroughly.

I don't like investing everything on 1 ICO ! you can simply trade with those 10k and earn much more profit ! besides what if the ICO failed ? you know what i mean ?

First of all I wouldn't go all in into only 1 cryptocurrency, rather I'd split my investments. Don't just look at the coin price look at the market cap. For instance bitcoin is around 2400-2600$ now (bitcoin current supply is 16,412,025 - max 21million) and lets take a look at NEM it is cheap around 0.1 - 0.2$ (BUT current supply is 8,999,999,999 so it is on the 6th place of the market cap worth in $).

Don't just look at the coins price, look around and try to find why is the certain coin unique, what does it offer? Don't trust random people over the internet about investments advices - don't take everything for granted but make a decisions on what do you think is best and try to understand why you go for that coin. Understand the pumps and dumps.

Don't invest more than you could afford to lose
, be ready to see that your 10k$ investment goes to 1$ or to 0$, understand the risks. Most of alts are used for gambling, nothing more.

Out of those , for me these look interesting ARC, NEM , SIA ;;; IOTA maybe it is relativly new and I don't really understand their protocol in full yet but it is something new.

Other coins which I would suggest you to look at : PIVX, DASH, MONERO , LITECOIN, ;;; maybe waves, ether and ether clasic

ICOs are very dangerous to buy now as there are many of them and people are just throwing money and hoping to flip it very fast, be careful if you chose to play around with ICOs.

If we all knew the best coin to buy - > be sure that it would be expensive by now already.

Thank you for your detailed comment, I still have to learn looking at marketcap till now I look at prices.

There is just so much info to read, and the word scam gets in every thread. So what 1 finds a super coin the other would not touch it in a million years.
And I find a lot pretty difficult to understand, what exactly they are going to do especially if you read a white paper Smiley)
But before I would make a investment I would read more about the certain coin.

Thats why you should take a look and speculate on which coin is likley to gain the most of % upward trend. Yes you should learn a lot - crypto currency markets can be manipulated and abused a lot, specially for some coin that has low value (I am talking about pump&dumps). As most coins don't have any use cases you can ethher hope that they will have some in the future or just look at them like some ponzi/pyramid scheme. Lot of people started their own cryptocurrency just to earn money and they stashed enormous amounts in their wallets, thats why I said earlier that it is a gamble, online exchanges like poloniex and bittrex are like big casinos.

Don't get me wrong I don't say that all coins were made for this purpose for the devs to get rich, but some of them, good percent, are. Thats why you should be careful. Don't just buy single coin because somebody told all the best about it, rather think clearly.

Word scam: because some people that have invested their money in particular coin are likely to try to do free marketing for them so that they can see profit. Other people who haven't invested in a good time/ or that think that particular coin is bad will call it a scam. Different opinions from different people, this happens.

The way it's going today, I'd stick $10,000 on Tether, wait a while, and come out well ahead of the other coins, with a total of $10,000 Smiley

Seriously though, I'd probably put 1/3 in ETH, 1/3 in XRP, and 1/3 in long-shot smaller coins with good potential. Plenty of them about: Ark, Aragon and Antshares just covers the 'A's.

I would put everything on ETH, growth potential is so big ! I think that at least we can reach back the ATH in some months, which means around a 40% increase from today !

I would take it…

…and leave it untouched for the next few months.

Seriously, If I wasn't in cryptocurrencies already, I would just watch from the sidelines at the moment. And yes, this applies for every coin/project.

The market looks way too unstable to get into anything right now. I don't mean that ther's no money to be made if you pick the right projects, but the risk/reward ratio feels way off.

Just my two satoshi, your mileage may vary.

BAT is good, correct. But it already made x10 are you aware of this? How will you expect it to rise more?
