Hello, I have decided I will test out this new Litecoin but I am having trouble with the client. It says unable to load BLKINDEX.DAT, it's quite annoying and putting me off Litecoin and just sticking to Bitcoin.

1. open up windows explorer
2. in the address bar, type in %appdata%\litecoin
3. hit enter
4. delete the files

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

Worked, thanks to everyone who helped me out. Another quick question where would I be able to buy some Litecoin, I have done some Face 2 Face trades with Bitcoin but Litecoin is hard to find.
