So I take a break from crypto-curriences to return and see that my bitcointalk.org account has been hacked and is posting some stupid scams on it on the forums. Not sure what I can do to regain access to that account and I no longer own the domain that the account was created with.

But, I do want to say that I am sorry for anyone that may have been scammed by hacked account.

Hacked Account in question:

Any admins please let me know what I can do to possibly re-take my original account.

Thank you
HearNoMore,

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.
