We hate spam as well.
Despite saying over and over again that their referral codes will not count they have not stopped spamming.
Most likely they won't.

I want to emphasize that TradeHill is not connected to the spammers.

Hey Jered,
I am very pleased to see you guys dis-associating yourself with the slimy spammer that is blasting his referral code out there to everyones emails.  Might I suggest that you create a thread on the forums requesting any and all codes that were contained in these spam emails?  I know you mentioned you were taking actions against the user in question (by negating his referalls) in another thread, but it would be nice to be able to post these in one place.
Here is the latest code I received about 10 minutes ago:  TH-R15683

It's interesting, I only received one spam email and one phishing email.

I concur with the original poster, in fact I think we will see a flood of bitcoin related spam and scams over the several months. So if you depend on the email you used on Empty Gox for important things (as I do), you will be quite pissed off for a while.
