Hello BitCoinTalk! I'm a newbie, it seems.

I'm not new to the whole BitCoin-mining thing, and I know a thing or two about mining to get anyone going. But!
I have absolutely no clue about what a FPGA is, and how it works - and for a matter of fact, it doesn't really matter. I just want it to work.

Now, I've been looking for a FPGA to run while I'm waiting for my ASIC from the (beloved, lol) ButterFly Labs. I've found one here: [http://www.ztex.de/usb-fpga-1/usb-fpga-1.15x.e.html]
It looks like this:
http://www.ztex.de/imgs/usb-fpga-1.15x-400.jpg

And already here I'm quite confused. I have absolutely no clue how this works. I have no idea how to connect a power source to this, or if it just runs by USB?
Now...

My question is:
- If I wanted to buy this, should I be prepared to do some heavy programming? Can I just buy this and plug it into a PC and let it run?
Or should I have some programming knowledge at first?
I'm heavily confused, but I got quite some cash that can be spent while waiting for ButterFly Labs.

P.S. I'm sorry if my English is broken. I haven't really used it for quite a while.

find someone

Who knows something about it? I've tried all my most nerdy friends, but none of those guys are hardware-related nerds Sad .

So I'm quite lost, which is why I'm asking in here in the Newbie forum.
And mostly because I can't get out of here before I've made these 5 posts and 4 hours wandering around in here...

So please, help? Smiley.

you dont have any power connection?

I don't even know, man. I'm truly a newbie regarding this..

I don't understand all these "CON1" and "JP1", "CON5" and whatsoever Tongue . I'm quite lost here..
What do I need to connect this to a power source? Something like this?
http://www.ztex.de/usb-fpga-1/pwr-1.1.e.html

But.. How does this work? Do you need like special cables for this to work?
I have only once tried messing with these kind of boards, and I didn't get it at all.

I was just wondering if I could buy one and use it without too much trouble'

EDIT:
Sorry for all my noobish behavior. I'm simply looking for help!

It seems quite hard getting help on this in the Newbie forums. We gotta move out of this dead-end Smiley.
I think people in the "Technical Support" section would be able to help.

It's all waiting now.. Surfing around these corners.
