hi guys. I am currently making a website that will allow the average American (yes only in America) to be able to buy bitcoins. it will be based on green dot money packs.

you will load the single use disposable card with the amount of money you want to spend on BITCOINS. just load it up send the numbers on back to the website and put in your bitcoin wallet address. in under 24hrs you will have your coins.  this WILL help btc, the price, and use of such currency. the idea will help get BTC to the average American. currently i am in it about 5,000 usd of my own money...no im not rich so this is a lot for me. im runnin low on money. im not one to do this as my pride is... well lets just say this hurts it.

what im asking is for small contributions. I don't want anyone to give more than you want. just give what you can. I should be able to have this up and running within a month. (im shooting for two more weeks.....even less) I work on it all hours of the day making the website and making a beta. I don't want to rush to much as i want it to work well with out bugs.

it will have a smooth feel and be very user friendly. I have built six websites for other business so i do have experience.

so I know this is kinda strange asking for donations but i believe in this and i have had my grandfather and my father and my wife all help with the costs. business licensing, web domain, and start up money is still needed.

if you think you can help then do, if you don't want to than THAT IS OK!!!. but please dont write hate messages. ask as many questions as you want but if you want to help .... even if it is .01200438 than i will thank you with all my heart.

donate here. 17XeYDLWuUXtf8yexXPYfPr5gMsijgeMkW

again im serious about this and every donation helps. lets get this thing going so the less techy person can buy coins. let them in on this amazing thing that is BTC

bless all that help, from the universe and the grater powers that be, let you be blessed!

If you keep receiving MoneyPak PayPal will eventually close your account as it states MoneyPak are not suppose to be used that way for commercial use. Only for personal use, like topping up your own account and buying stuff online.

are you talking about the cardboard ones? the scratch off ones? one time only ones?

technically you are buying something on-line.

i dont want to break any laws but in my resurch I did not see any law preventing people to use the card in such manner.

thank you for bringing up any potential issues though. i have worked to hard on this for it to fall apart now haha. .... wait why am i lafing? blaaa

I knew someone who used to sell items by it, they got a email from PayPal explaining to stop using MoneyPak for his business. Not sure if the rules have changed, he was accepting like 3 a day and they finally said to stop.

paypal has nothing to do with green dot.

Green Dot debit cards are available in many stores, including CVS/pharmacy, Kmart, 7-Eleven and Walgreens and walmart.[4] This is only a temporary card for single use and does not come with customer's name on it, and instead it says "Valued Customer". Temporary cards are not re-loadable.

can you tell me what paypal has to do with this? any info is good info....as long as it is true info. thanks

You upload them onto your PayPal correct, PayPal doesn't like you using them as a non business use. I'm only saying what happened to my friend, they may allow it now not sure.

Green Dot Corporation is an issuer of prepaid MasterCard and Visa cards in the United States. These products are available at more than 60,000 retail stores,[1] including CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, and RadioShack; as well as with discounted offerings at Meijer and Wal-Mart. Green Dot also transfers individual's direct deposit funds (such as Social Security payments) from the US government to personal bank accounts,

The cards may be used like normal debit or credit cards, but they are not backed by a checking account or line of credit. Purchases are deducted from the balance stored on the card. The user can add more money to the card by paying cash at a retail store's point of sale, or in certain cases from their paycheck. In this sense, these cards have some of the features of a bank account.

Green Dot is headquartered in Pasadena, California, and it was formerly known as Next Estate Communications. The company provides co-branded card programs to Wal-Mart, Boost Mobile, AT&T and Citibank. In 2007, it was reported that Green Dot raised $20M in funding,[2] including Sequoia Capital as an investor. In 2008, Green Dot ceased to offer prepaid Discover cards

i got from the wiki of it. I know wiki has its issues but for the most part it is quite accurate.

no, i mean you can use them to pay for some paypal things but its a totally separate entity.

these are cardboard cards that have a scratch off thing on the back ( usually 14 to 16 digits)  they are just like cash. almost literally. in the sense that you just put however much you want (7-11 up to 500 and Walgreen and wall mart up to 1000) and when you give then numbers out they use all the money on them. they are anonymous and you CAN NOT dispute the charges. thats the point of this system. you can not get bitcoins with paypal or credit card, why? because you could just dispute the charges. this is bad because once the coins are transfered then they are gone. no getting them back.

this will be one of the easyist ways to get coins. but easy comes with a price thats why ill charge a 4% fee. people want it to be easy and convinient and a small fee is ok as long as they get there coins.

even the gov gives them out for socal security payments. (the plastic ones...not the cardbord ones) but still. you can do anything with them and they say rite on them that they are like cash once  you give someone the numbers then thats that you spent the card.

for those who donate >1 BTC put your name (can be fake if you want) and your bit address in the message section of your transfer (if you use multibit i know this has it) and i will pay you back.

or you can tell me on this thread that you are donating. tell me the odd number you dontate and ill pay you back

to be clear this is what i mean. say you want to donate and get your donation back once i make a profit. donate an unusual number not just 1 btc.

so for example donate.   1.03857217 then just tell me the last 4 of  your add you sent from and ill repay you.

i know that people dont want to go around throwing there money away and ya there are bad karma people out there. I get that. but all im asking for is a little help and we can get bitcoins up up up in price. just need a little trust and help.

also I will give back all money....even if its 2 cents to anyone who donates if this website is not up in one month. again just tell me the last 4 of your bitcoin address.

Just a heads up before you invest a huge amount of time and resources into a site which relies solely on MoneyPaks.  Your actions would violate Green Dots terms of service unless you become an authorized merchant and doing that is 100% impossible if your business has anything to do with Bitcoin.

It is only a matter of time before GreenDot will issue a cease and desist letter and eventually take legal action.  Depending on your volume it might not happen for a month, it might not happen for six months but eventually it will happen.

why because i accept green dot? shouldn't they want people to buy there cards (they are 5 a pop). it would be advantageous for them to let people to buy them and use them for payment. weather its to pay a bill or to buy money.....er new currency.

You could call the site

Secure-Coins-for-American-Money-Paks.com

If you think that's too long you can always shorten it to scampaks.com
