When will you guys realize that all this doom and gloom speculative bullshit serves only to create downward pressure on the price? It's a self-fulfilling prophecy: you've got some douche w/ a YouTube channel making predictions based on technical analysis and saying the market will correct by however many percentage points and the saddest thing is that people take their speculative bullshit seriously.

Technical analysis doesn't work. Nobody has any fucking clue where the market is headed. No one! Even back in 2013, the BTC market was pretty darn efficient already. Moves on a 24 hour time scale were for all intents and purposes impossible to predict. You can't time the market unless you have enough money to play the pump and dump game.


So unless you have a shitload of BTC and are willing to break the law, you have no way of predicting the price of BTC and alts. Nobody has a clue, so stop whining about the price and start buying. If you believe in the long term potential of crypto just keep buying on a regular basis. The lower it drops the better, because you'll be able to accumulate more.

Agree. This is purely speculative market and there is no one who can truly predicted were the prices is going. I guess the newbies or newcomers who are just here to profit don't really understand it that is why when the price sinks, then panic and sell everything because of the fear of not getting their investment back. If they just used their rational mind, their is more profit by holding on it.

Nice said, i agree with you but you can't really say to everyone - stop speculating and keep quiet, everyone has right to do speculations, besides - we are in speculation board.
And lots of speculations are made because someone wants to buy cheaper coins or sell on higher price.

Just go with the flow and don't bother them. If you know what's gonna do then do it. Speculation is unlimited and you can't just stopped them with your statement. People have different mind and people also knows to interact with the speculation.

If there's a whine, let them cry. Rather than to stress yourself with those people, hang out to your friends instead because you are not different from those people you are talking about because you take that thing as a main concern.

Technical analysis does work. I use it to support my common sense.
It can be wrong for sure. But it has the effect that more people will follow and use the TA.
For example, just drawing lines as TA. Everyone has the skills to do this. The more people believe in this, the more accurate the TA will become.
Just don't rely for the full 100% on TA.

If they just used their rational mind, their is more profit by holding on it.

The only thing you can do is be here for the long run, and with that mindset you can confront things in a way better light, since you know that in the long run you'll win. This also gives you a great deal of calmness when the dips come, you just buy them and wait, and eventually you are compensated with gains. That is what I have been doing for years, and now I got a respectable amount of holdings I think.
