Once it is used by every bank in the world, there is just such a huge market there, trillions of dollars, it could dwarf every other altcoin. At this point xrp could be worth $100 each. But if you think about the speed at which technology is growing faster every year, in 5 years all crypto currencies could be obsolete for some reason, even bitcoin. If not you could hedge your bets on the quantum proof blockchains like quantum resistance ledger.

I can see etherium in the future because as of now its value is going up or rising and I think we can see this coin beat the bitcoin in the near future. Take note that this coin is the second top in the chart and if the bitcoin falls down then this will rise to the top.

I would definitely go for LTC if you ask me about the future. Undervalued and has lots of potentials. People will understand lately and then will regret for sure.
I had invested some in Byteball which paid off well for me, the price is peaking at 700$ now and its one of the best community backed coin.

Agreed, also agreed about the long hold. I'm sure Ripple the company will be a huge success. The question I had for a while was will XRP the token also be a success? I've looked at this a lot over the last few months, and I'm convinced that it will, and that XRP is and will remain the cheapest and best way to use the RCL. It's always important to do your own research, but this is probably true of XRP more than other coins, given that the counter-arguments can - superficially at least - look very persuasive.

I'm also very confident that ETH will be huge. I know that people have been complaining recently, but PoS is coming soon. I think that in a few years' time, Ethereum will be as well known as Google or Amazon.

I don't think Ethereum will rise a lot. Let's see what happens when there are ICOs.. They congestioned the network.

They have to do something, because a network like this can't be used for a lot of business..
The future will be waves and EOS ( if they do what they promise)

I see future for such coins as WAVES and ARK. Waves have done a great work this year and they continue to conquer market. ARK has a potential, because of DPOS platform. Don`t see any future for ETH, it is great coin really, but i think it is on its peek at the moment But you never know, maybe some intresting thing will come up from it.

I feel ETH, ETC and LTC are good candidates to rival Bitcoin and perhaps overcome and dethrone bitcoin. There are lots to be done and miles to go before this happens. Right now I would rank ETH has the number one contender and ETC as the 2nd contender. Finally, last but not the least LTC as the final contender. Things can change if new tokens or coins come out of nowhere in future. We will have to see about it.

If your really look into i think waves . Because its giving ability to create the token like ethereum giving ERC20 smart tokens . SO waves would be the next big thing to givhuge profit . even Look into LTC as already charlie lee joined LTC after it got very good increase. DOge and ripple would be next good choices.

Shit's happen, those coins are now dumped hardly but hoping to recover very soon. Those may have the chance to dethrone bitcoin seeing from its volume which rising significantly in the recent time.
But, the bubble is now over, I wonder what'll happen next, many of investors may moving out their money to another one, or keep holding. Just if every success ICO always use ETH as its main currency, it'll be a serious threat to bitcoin, even it's already now.

so to clarify your question, you are looking for some get rich quick scheme to buy today and become rich in blank days. you are not really asking what coin has real potential, real real-world usage, ...

in which case almost all the altcoins that can get pumped have this potential you are looking for.
how much profit do you want anyways? is 100% satisfactory? how about 6000% in 1 month?
if you look at some price history using an exchange charts you can see all the altcoins satisfy this criteria. you just have to find the best time to get involved.

Basic on price action and volume I choose eth, for me that's the next cryptocurrency. Besides that, more news about eth than another coin and make more speculation about this coin. Speculation sometimes makes price action get higher/ lower than our predict. That's my opinion with knowledge I have and have a nice day.
