Majority of online wallets generate a new address for every transaction (i.e after the address receives money, they add a new one for future transactions). The old one is still usable in all the wallets I tried, but according to blockchain.info, they do that to maintain user privacy and to avoid being linked to a single address.

That is just your wallet generating new addresses for each time, but the old addresses are always usable and even viewable if you are using Electrum which does this for each tx.

Good explanation about this change. I also wondered why online wallets changes the adresses and I got my answer. I wish parity eth wallet to do the same as well like bitcoin.

Ethereum works differently.

Why is my bitcoin address constantly changing?
We need way more information than that. Are you using an online exchange? Or an online wallet? Are you using a desktop wallet that has a changing address? There's a lot of different things that need to be taken into account and you can't just ask why something is changing without explaining it more. If it is an online wallet, then most wallets change addresses to help obscure the owner of a wallet. You will always receive your Bitcoin either way, though. If it is an offline wallet, then chances are it has a similar function but it is simply changing the public address and still lumping all your Bitcoin together.

They are trying to protect you from others spying on your bitcoin transactions. If they used the same address all your purchase history would be naked for everybody to see. Besides, we don't have to worry about the world running out of bitcoin addresses.

Why is my bitcoin address constantly changing?
I don't have any idea why is it happen but one thing I know that is because bitcoin is not stable and it will change from time to time it will increase or decrease. We must be always positive that bitcoin will increase.

We should have more control over changes to public addresses and i bet lots of money goes missing because of this
if i want to change my email address every day for "Security" then that's my decision and maybe i want to scan the block chain myself for all my spending and i have better things to do than to type in 50 transaction ID's

Mining is CPU-wars and Intel, AMD like it nearly as much as big oil likes miners wasting electricity. Is this what mankind has come too.

You are focusing too much on the addresses. Let the wallet manage the addresses. There is no need for you to get involved. My wallet has generated hundreds of addresses. I have never needed to keep track of them. My wallet lists every transaction I have ever made. Either way, you can reuse addresses if you want. Get an address from your wallet, and print the QR code on a piece of paper and laminate it. Now you have your one address.

It changing constantly so that you can have more security because if your bitcoin address given to someone they can request payment thats why it changes constantly after a transaction is done.

Yes surely it is just for your own benefit and your own security. I have bitcoin and will like if I will have proper safety for it. Now in several wallets bitcoin address use to change and will give you your own key word for your own bitcoin new address. It is fine to have your own password and your own benefit related to bitcoin wallet and safe key address.

Could you specific in which environment is it changing? Local app wallet? Web browser? There are trojans/virues that changes addresses just after you paste them in input fields to stole your coins, so in that case, the fact that is changing is bad!
