Which one suits you the most?
I always use Electrum wallet. No synchronizing issues. No safety issues.Multiple addresses are given. We could set our transaction fee manually. We get a seed which is generated during registration which could be used for recovering our account in future.

In the Philippines I only use coins.ph because it is the most reliable and most use by many people here in the Philippines that use bitcoin as their transaction. And for the etherium I'm using myetherwallet.com because it is also the most reliable but in myetherwallet it needs a gas for it to transfer your money to your bitcoin address. Well for exchanges I'm using Poloniex and Bittrex.

I use ONLY Bitcoin Core. I trust the team.

Im on  multibit and electrum since I can't trust those other site interms of storing some huge balance. And I try Xapo and coinbase before but their service is totally suck and that totally annoyed me. So better you should stick on those wallet provider that can give you more effecient service since you will the one who will suffer if suddenly those scam minded will run off.

The bitcoin wallet i usually use is Coins.ph from philippines since im a filipino citizen. Coins.ph is very useful because it has a lot of variaties such as you can load your mobile phone using btc, you can even exchange btc to fiat money fast, you can also pay monthly bills including water and electricity bills. Coins.ph is so userfriendly thats why i use it as my wallet

what do you mean by "facilities" a cold storage doesn't really need anything special or weird! you just disconnect your internet and run a live linux to make a paper wallet for example.

but if you are looking for an "online" wallet then use a light (aka SPV) wallet such as electrum or multibit-HD on your desktop computer.

if cores will run? omg, than btc will be doomed anyway. At least you need to control your private keys. That's why I don't have any cryptos on exchanges or web wallets.

I use XAPO wallet. I really like it. I used to use the Blockchain, but it is not very convenient to enter. Now there is no shortage of proposals. You can always choose a convenient wallet. The main thing is to have something to store in the wallet.

I use electrum as an desktop wallet, because it is lightweight and it is easy to use ! And also use blockchain.info as an online wallet for some transactions, as it is easy to use, UI friendly, and also it does not have banning issues like coinbase

Electrum is a lightweight wallet that is another option which provides fairly secure storage without jamming up your entire computer. It does not clog up the entire storage space on your computer as it is a lightweight wallet. I would suggest Electrum for you. For Electrum:
  • Your private keys are encrypted and never leave your computer.
  • You can export your private keys and use them in other Bitcoin clients.
  • Keep your private keys offline, and go online with a watching-only wallet.
  • Your funds can be recovered from a secret phrase.
  • Electrum servers are decentralized and redundant. Your wallet is never down.
  • Electrum is fast, because it uses servers that index the Bitcoin blockchain.
  • Electrum Wallet verifies all the transactions in your history using SPV.

in case, my computer is infected with a virus or other malware, is that still safe?

Word of Advice:
Sure! Desktop wallets are good and give you access to your private keys which helps you control your coins but desktop wallets are as safe as your PC. So you need to be extra careful the kind of links you click online or on your email, the sort of websites you visit as some website contains malwares and remember to backup your assets in case your system crashes. Get a very good antivirus and see your PC as your own bank which you need to keep as secured as possible. If you have much coins for yourself, I will advise you to get a hardware wallet being a cold storage. Cheers!

My ether wallet isn't supposed to have a password? all it needs is the private key which is a funky row of numbers and letters.
