I check bitcointalk at work constantly, I have to use a proxy to avoid getting caught... everyone I know that owns bitcoin is also on bitcointalk constantly checking some good content. A lot of the core devs post here in the development section. The altcoin section is also pretty much the best on the internet to find new projects because every new project posts announcements. The speculation section is fun and I enjoy the trolling.

I think that even if I got rich from bitcoin and retired, I would still check it pretty much daily.

there are simply to many thingds to follow you can't get annoyed ever here from segwith activation to altcoin

then you have the marketplace or private altcoin trading, also you can learn a lot here about tech savy stuff

Its certainly an addiction that is giving handsome rewards too. I usually check BTCTalk every half an hour or so when I'm online. And I'm online more than 10 hours a day, every day too.
So its an addiction we won't mind growing.

And then a few years ago I discovered bitcoins and crypto in general.. and before I knew it the forums I visit doubled. I now visit 8-10 forums a day. Plus reddit.

Yup, same, I used to surf all my time here when I had free time, but now that I am more busy, I can only check in about 2 a day only, which is also a good thing that I can spend more time offline to do work.

I will have to learn how to manage my time more, at the same time give myself time for Bitcoin and other interests.

Yeah it somehow fun to communicate and argue with someone that has an interest in something same as you do, giving others the information you have gathered or sharing knowledge is something that I can be addicted at too, its a great thing that the one you are addicted at has something that gives back to you.

You know  interest can grow into something more than you consider, it may turn to love and addiction even sometimes obsession, you may call the op a psychosocial or a person whos addicted to social media, its like a teensger being addicted to facebook, twitter , instagram etc...

I am most of the time online due to signature campaign and other tasks which i am doing for bitcoins. Actually i can say that today i am earning my salary through this forum by doing bitcoin work, so most of the time i be online to earn bitcoins by participating in all tasks.

It is not bad to be addicted on bitcointalk since we are not risking anything valuable on this, we are just spending our time here to earn money, unlike to those who are addicted in gambling which are losing their money on it. Being addicted on this forum could make you rich, especially if you are going to be a full time bitcoiner here then I could say you are going to have a bigger salary, especially if you are a bounty hunter.

This addiction here is good to all of us, but we should still take care of ourselves, we should still get some enough sleep because of spending too much on this.

Haha. Truly said man! I'm also very excited about this forum a lot. Always keep coming on thus forum checking out new posts and I just love reading posts made by others. There are so many new minds and they have big ideas and thinking.

Always checkout the gambling section to know more about new games, websites and of course scammers in the industry. This gives me a lot of genuine information. I have got addicted to read these stuff again and again to harness my knowledge about the bitcoin.

Well, that's true if I just stay at home but I have some other work to do other than posting in the forum but someway it helps me to earn some bitcoins on joining campaigns and I love it. I just have to work hard on posting constructive post so that I could earn much and gain some ranks. I will also say I am beginning to get addicted as the only time I dont know whats going on at one sub-section of the forum or the other is when I am sleeping and even at that I still wake up in the middle of the night to see if there is any update to be acted upon. Maybe a new thing to catch up on or a bounty to be claimed, a private message has been replied or a news has just broke among other things one can think of. The forum is actually a place to be. I wish I could be been addicted earlier than this.

I would say that you are definitely a forum addict and not just here in Bitcointalk. Definitely, foruming can be an addictive habit as if it is becoming already a very big part of your everyday system. Right now, I am more focused on this forum because I am already involved with cryptocurrency and this forum is providing me with information, ideas as well as opinions that I can use for my own benefits.

Being addicted to forums can mean a lot to us because we are always educated everyday and we can connect with trending  topics easily. Of course, that is aside from the possible business opportunities that we may encounter here. I registered here just last year and there is no more turning back.

This kind of addiction is not bad, while you're here in the forum you make profit via bitcoins or altcoins. I think it's not an addiction we may call it a wotkaholic lol, since we're all here to find jobs, offer jobs, sell goods etc. but our main goal is to earn. If you call this as an addiction it's not a problem since we all getting a profit from here

I am also on bitcointalk constantly at work but i don't need a proxy though XD.  I got dual screens so the left one has the forum open from the moment I arrive until I leave to go home. Sadly didn't realise this was an addiction. But it's an addiction i can tolerate.

OP, if you're here so much you could make some coins through one of the sig campaigns. If I had the time to post as much as you I'd be getting at least a bitcoin per year out of it

Not alone! Since I started on bitcointalk, despite my busy schedules, the time just comes from nowhere to want to view the latest, share and contribute on the forum. I can't really say if I am actually addicted to everything that pertains bitcoin only , leading to my recent hobby on the forum or I am actually addicted to the forum too. Since I own Bitcoin (enough to "have skin in the game") and am grateful to my Signature Campaign (whose service is very good), yeah, I'm here a lot.  When home (USA) I check in some two - three times per day.

When overseas, I check in when I can, like today!  We are in Italy now, and I have not seen nor heard ANYTHING re BTC, but we're just touristing, I know no programmers (etc.) here.

One very good thing I read a long time ago here:

People in Signature Campaigns commenting from developing countries actually earn REAL MONEY (for their situations), so even if many of us find the Signature Campaigns to not be lucrative, it IS meaningful to some from LatAm, India, Nepal, Africa, etc.

This is great IMO.  Helps to build a world community based on our similar interests.  Bravo to bitcointalk and the sponsors of the Campaigns.

I am not addicted to Bitcointalk, but enthralled. It has a lot of useful information, tons of good threads/topics (although it gets dull sometimes), and is fun. When I am not in the mood of reading anything technical, I just hover to Politics and Society, or Off-Topic boards, which are bloody funny, especially the Flat Earth thread, Hilarious.
Also it keeps me away from my bad habit — gaming addiction.

That's right, I use all time in day for checking about Bitcoin and Altcoin (can call cryptocurrencies), I use it as my main job because source income every month for my life are from Bitcoin

I'm already addicted to bitcointalk and in bitcoin. I'm not so addicted when my friends introduced the bitcoin to me. But I'm willing to try this for my future purpose. I want to earn money like a real job, and bitcoin gives what I want. So when I allot more time for studying and getting more information I'm excited to join in signature campaign. And when I got my first payment I'm very happy and become addicted. And that time I do more accounts for more income, and spend my vacant time for posting in different thread to have a good images to my account to join easy in signature campaign.

I would not say I am addicted to BCT. After joining this forum, for the first couple of years, apart from promoting some of my websites, I rarely was an active poster, used to visit the forum daily, go through different topics, almost everyday something new is happening in cryptosphere, so it is good to have an understanding of latest events. For the last one year, I have been more active as a poster, maybe because I learned a bit about bitcoins and could post my opinion with a basic understanding about the topic. Learning new things, building trust in an anonymous environment, posting your opinions, helping newbies, and in the process you are also earning so yeah bitcointalk is an interesting place to get addicted to.

Most people say we are crazy but upon looking at the this forum I can confirm all of us really have a common goal and this forum help us in a way to interact, exchange and spread info between each other with anonymity.
