Load up on carbs before your workout (oatmeal, pancakes, cereal, cream of wheat etc) so you don't get drained and make sure you get enough protein after the workout.
Yes a good and healthy tip, don't forget also to drink water before, during and after your workout to replenish your sweat. But when you do jog or biking, i don't think it is appropriate for you to drink during that exercise, well it also depends if your comfortable with it though, a lot of people find it more hard to tune up if you have consumed water during jog, running or biking, as i have also said it depends if your body is comfortable with it.
