I have my bitcoin wallets, GDAX account, Poloniex account, Bittrex account, etc. But how exactly do I invest in an ICO? Where can I go to reasearch upcoming and current ICOs? Still using the search function, although it keeps timing out on me and saying wait 45 seconds. Thanks in advance.

It really depends on the ICO you want to invest. Some of them accept Bitcoin and other altcoins, and others are build inside Ethereum, so you will need to exchange some of your ETH for tokens.

There are a few websites that track new ICOs, some of them:

https://icotracker.net
https://www.smithandcrown.com/icos/
https://www.icoalert.com

Now, please make sure to do your own research on the ICO before sending some money to them. Most of those ICOs will never produce anything to the society and are only made to collect some easy money for their owners. Don't invest blindly on anything you see in the internet.

Thank you. I'd like to invest in Dao and InsureX. How do I do that exactly? (Yes, I have done my research)

Are you talking about the DAO.Casino?

Here is the ICO website: https://dao.casino
It's happening on ~21 hours from the time I'm posting this.
After the countdown go to zero, they will publish all the information necessary to invest in the project.

For InsureX: http://www.insurex.co
Will happen from 11th July to 31st July

Read more about this ICO in those pages:

http://www.insurex.co/presale/

Ok, so lets use SunContract for example. They are about to go live. So lets so I send bitcoin to that address. I get the tokens. Now where are the tokens held? If I wanted to sell them, where could I sell them?

In this case you will have to send the amount of ETH you want to invest to a specific address and the address you used to send the Ethereum will receive SNC tokens. Then, after the ICO finishes, you will probably be able to sell those tokens or use them for what SunContract is promising to do. Their rate is 10.000 SNCs per 1 ETH.

That's why I told you that you need to read all the information available on those ICOs website. Some of them work like SunContract (Ethereum smart contract) and others are build with XCP (counterparty tokens).

e.g: Look at everything you can get from InsureX Presale page:

Quote
- Funds are managed by the presale smart contracts.
- Minimum buy in is 15 ETH.
- Contribution address is 0x594f1b4fa77be53c36001b2a207e58d8bcbf3d4f
- Price during pre-sale is 1 ETH = 1758 IXT at 56%.

If you read everything available on this page, there is no chance to do any mistake. They even teach you how to send the ETH to the address during the ICO period.
