You are probably not going to find any ANN thread for this token. According to the whitepaper (https://s3.amazonaws.com/static.unikoingold.com/whitepaper.pdf) the token has existed for a couple of years already as Unikoin, but can only be used within the companies (Unikrn)  platform for items the company provides. They are now going to call the existing Unikoin tokens UnikoinSilver and create an Ethereum token called UnikoinGold.

I'm wondering if it's worth joining this in the current climate. A few months ago i'd jump at the chance but now with all the alts going below ico price, it might be worth waiting until the exchanges instead

It's a pity they do not have a thread on this forum. It will give them more exposure. And investors will be aware of what's going on with their comapany and ICO.

It could be bad timing as all alts dropped in price, investing in this depends on the btc fork effect. If other ico alts are worth more than their ico price next month then it might be worth joining, otherwise i'm definitely staying away

very interresting launch of a token..
first i heard of unikoin gold about 1 month ago because mark is investing again.
at that point i was looking into it and i read that mark doesnt like crypto very much but is going to invest in unikoin gold.
so i waited doing other things, i believe ico is somewhere around 20-23 Sep. you cannot see it anymore on the website :/ they ask for your data now.

the first thing i notice is only 20% of all token will be available at ico.
this reddit thread made me wonder if the token will have the proper value.

overall some people are asking about it but there is not much talk going on about unikoin gold.
maybe people are just silent to grab a big piece of the pie.

they currently only operate in uk and australia and https://unikrn.com/ is not the biggest platform.
unikoingold would push it worldwide.

unikrn maybe just didnt have enough exposure, good marketing could change that and dont we all like to win some cash for playing games?
they do have a working platform..
like other people im also still thinking about investing.

without ANN in bitcointalk i dont see the support of the crypto scene.
but why should we support if mark doesnt support.
still this unikoingold has nothing to do with him.

I registered but no real updates from them and the crowdsale is tomorrow.  I don't know the price or how much tokens will be released.  I know there is 200M tokens released but that is including with the large investors presale.  So no idea how much tokens are available for the crowdsale. 

I heard the price was $0.70, but forgot where I got that number from.

Anything Ashton touches, I'm buying. Haven't lost any investments yet following his tweets. Look at ethereum from $0.80 to $280. Don't really care for Mark Cuban.

I'm very doubtful from an investors pov, they show no intention of being exchange listed (which I totally understand), they are only distributing 20% of the tokens in the crowdsale.
I see 0 remarks of investor profitiablity in their whitepaper and their roadmap is a list of implemenations, most likely ashton got a nice board function and dividends from investing. I registered for their tokensale and I haven't heard anything form them, their discord is quiet aswell. I think it is a nice project and I think it will be very succesfull. I just don't really see how investors can benefit from it, Im not even sure if we are considered investors.. it is a crowdsale none the less.

I find it concerning that it is so hard to find solid info on this token. Many will dismiss this as FUD, which is their prerogative, but I am motivated out of a desire to help my friends.

Yes, it's not easy to find infos on this ICO. Too bad because it seemed quite interesting to me, at a first glance. Also I think the fact they didn't write an official announcement here on bitcointalk will prevent many people to invest money on this project. Definitely a bad marketing strategy!

I think they are going for more mainstream money. I was initially told about the ICO by a very normal person. Concerning.
