Two private preschools named Montessori Schools in New York began to accept Bitcoin and two other cryptocurrencies as payment.
The option of paying by cryptocurrencies (in addition Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin) appeared earlier in June and implemented through the integration of the processing service Coinbase, that automatically converts them in USD.
According to cofounder of Montessori Schools, Marco Ciocco, the possibility of adding cryptocurrencies to preschools launched about a year ago when parents of children started coming out with similar proposals.
"Parents who were early adopters are now able to take advantage of the appreciation of their digital assets and use them to pay for their children’s education – something that will ultimately have a lifetime impact on their families."
