Excuse my lack of knowledge on this. While many of you experts would have great suggestions on the subject,I would like to know is there any desktop/online wallet to store Eth without having to download the entire chain and obviously is trusted for long term storage.
Not looking for a cold wallet or an offline wallet. Some more casual like Electrum/blockchain.info.
Right now my coins are stored at Polo and I want to get away from that shit show as soon as possible.
Thank you!

Yes that's the first thing that comes on the google search when searched with Eth Wallet keywords. It's an online wallet if I'm not wrong and seriously I don't wanna take risks with them unless if everyone agrees I should be using it.
Having said that,I'm hoping I get more responses here.

Metamask is a nice and reasonably safe wallet that works as a Chrome extension.

Using myetherwallet is best option for you, since you dont need to download huge blockchain. myetherwallet also have very active developer to update their code, and the best way is you can hold your own private key which mean you can controll your coin too so no need to worry keep your coin using myetherwallet
