Level 2 Verification - Incomplete @poloniex

I just applied level 2 verification and i have also uploaded photo ID and picture of myself holding ID, but my status is still incomplete.
Is this a natural occurrence or I should wait for manual approval by poloniex?

I have been trying to get level 2 and level 3 verification for a couple of months now.  It will go about a month to a month and a half, then it seems like someone will take a look at request something else.  I have sent multiple pictures of myself and utilities and ID's and so on and so forth, but it takes a few months before anyone even looks at them.

I have also made a few tickets, but no one has ever responded and it doesn't seem to effect anyone looking at what I have submitted.  Basically, patience is really the only option.

Ok i understand, so i just have to wait for level 2 that i apply this is manually verified by the poloniex team.
Poloniex increasingly annoying, all done manually whereas poloniex is one of the largest exchange platform in the world's of crypto.
Hopefully i can withdraw all the coins i keep there and then i will never again visit poloniex.

Yes it is normal, getting verified in poloniex might take few weeks and these days it is taking few months due to increase number of support ticket and verification request.

I was very lucky in this because they verify my application in less then one week better try to contact them in chat hope they will check for you and clear all your things in very less time they are very quick in response this is my personal experience with them in last few months

I think you are not aware of recent changes polo have made in their site. They have completely disabled trollbox in the name of moving support staffs to handle support ticket but we will never know the real reason behind it. Yes it seem you are really lucky to get verified within a week.

Sometimes it's just for a weeks but Im seeing today that the verification process even can take up to month/s.

Yes it's manual approval and you have no other choice but to wait. I suggest to make a new ticket everyday (just a single one so it's not annoying) so that it will always be bumped until they will told you that same request is on processed right now and just kindly wait.

I am yet to get verified there but I have heard really bad story of others who have waited for more than 2 months to get verified there, you can try getting verified in bittrex which is quite faster. I am thinking of shifting from polo to bittrex because of their poor customer support and lot of delays recently.

Everybody should try to understand that Poloniex has slowly become the biggest altcoin exchange after the demise of Cryptsy. Obviously theres a backlog in applications to get their accounts verified also because the the recent influx of new traders because of the bull run.

They also closed their troll box because they got their moderators out to help answer customer support emails which also has a backlog.

Just be patient.

The problem is that no matter how much profit Poloniex has made with their insanely mad volumes, they still aren't willing to expand their staff crew significantly.

That is simply said unacceptable for an exchange that is basically settling itself in the top of the crypto market. I don't see any significant changes here, unless they start expanding their staff crew.

Yeah thats true. Although I still use Poloniex with the majority of my volume, I have also been starting to use Bittrex. For disgruntled users, give Bittrex a try. Their volume has been good enough lately.

I've had the exact same problem as you. At first, the site wouldn't even let me upload my documents for Level 2 and I left it alone for some time. Just over three weeks ago, I tried again and opened a support ticket. I received a reply within hours, but the response was misinformed (they thought I was asking for Level 3, despite screenshots and clear title). I updated the response and said I only wanted Level 2. The ticket hasn't been updated since.

That said, I'm still working on the Level 1 daily limit and it doesn't seem to have caused any issues. I have started moving out my balances, however. Just losing a bit of faith in the way things are going.

Poloniex is an extremely untrustworthy exchange right now to use.

I don't think that anyone has gotten their Level 2 verification done since a few weeks back, so i actually do not know how long of a wait time you might be looking at here for you to get approved for $25000.

I think the main reason why they're not willing to approve no applicants for higher withdrawal limits is because they have liquidity issues on their exchange, and they don't want anyone withdrawing super high amounts. What I suggest doing is just cash out $1000 a day until everything is cashed out, and move to bittrex.

I do not even think that they are doing the verification themselves so increasing capacity should not be a problem.

Everyone is suspecting that they are deliberately limiting withdrawals and if even half its users are withdrawing slowly like me, they're going to lose a lot of liquidity in coming weeks. That is not a coincidence that they'd want to deny your level 2 verification. It is completely planned and deliberate as you said.

This on top of the fact that there is a constant fake lag which is blamed on hackers(as always, gee give me some new phrases here), as well as the trollbox getting shut down, it is evident that they are trying to get as much deposits in their system as possible and limit the withdrawals.

i doubt they care at all, just like cryptsy in its late stages, i suspect soon we'll see absolutely no customer support, certain coins unable to be withdrawn, resulting in premiums for those which still can be withdrawn.

@OP, all you can do is withdraw $2000 a day, and hope for the best, at least for now.

i got verfied level 2 a week or two ago. if i remember i think i applied for it in march. i did one extra ticket a short while ago but i don't know if that made any difference.
