When governments realize they cannot really do anything to stop bitcoin for real, they try all sort of other things , like this one, putting mud on bitcoin and telling people to not use it as an investment instrument. In fact bitcoin nowadays is the best investment anyone can make and it allows anyone to take part, even if this is not like by many governments. Bitcoin can only be stopped when internet will cease to exist.

What's so surprising? Amazing to me that some people believe what ever the government of any country will agree to accept the cryptocurrency. Well that's sad to hear but Russians say a no it means a no, doesn't make any sense arguing it, but what I last remember was that they were planning to introduce their own crypto to take over bitcoin and they had rejected Bitcoins, so I am not totally surprised by this decision. Russians were never to keen on Bitcoins. But I don't think it will effect the price of Bitcoins in anyway, but it may effect just the Russians.
