I believe the approach he espoused is superior to  Brave's, IE cross platform ability (Chrome and Safari have already dominated this space. It's silly to not make the platform/protocol compatible with these browsers, it puts you at a huge disadvantage). If this technology makes it into a browser extension, like MetaMask, this will be insane.

It is also how advertisers will get paid in which they can then exchange for crypto or to re-invest in their advertising campaigns. Advertising is a multi BILLION dollar industry and there are only 100 mil tokens ever available. There is a TON of $$ in this sector, so if they even get a small fraction of a small piece of the pie, these tokens will have a good scarcity value.

With the result of the ico and it will be so easy for Adex token to be listed on the bittrex exchange site, But I think we need the more exchange site to add adex token to give the more demand. Everything is fine with adding custom token but you have to check whether they released the coins for investors or not. Because some companies will pay later after auditing the process, better contact the support team. So they will clear your problem may be.

Strange, coinmarketcap is showing raise of 17%, and price on liqui is little less then 10K satoshi for 1 ADX token.

^ This does not mean anything, almost every first few tokens of any crypto gets sold on the exchange are hugely different value to when market calms.
Think about ZCash, that was the craziest one of all and with huuuuuuge volume+crazy pricings at the millions of dollars per coin right from the start.
many people got burnt but that's the risk they get for hyping/trading the first bunch of coins on exchange.

A good example of "possible" manipulation on first release is when you have huge volume, not when you have no volume. manipulations dont work with zero volume.
Think of EOS, collaborating with Yunbi and Yunbi has the biggest volume and biggest pump. Very possible that the owners are pumping it with the money that they will get from ICO, that Dan guy is f*cking smart at this shady shit, from bitshares to steemit now on to EOS. look back in the history, same greed tactic shit again and again.
He is getting away with it because his tech is actually good. but he sure is one of the top greedy name in crypto sphere.

I doubt it can be easily manipulated, ADX price has been stable on 0.00009-0.0001 btc atm on liqui. I have some funds on liqui and until now it went smoothly without any problem so i can say they are quite safe.

Did you started to learn how their system works? There were several coins like ADZ and MEGAflash which has same concept like Adex. I don't know if this is going to be profitable actually. It harder to compete the existing adnetworks that established already.. Presearch ICO seem a better idea for me and that they can work out to be a good adnetwork.

ADX is starting to move further up and away from ICO price at above 30 cents on Liqui. I bet when it is listed on bittrex it will do really well.

I think indeed if it is already there in bittrex it is very good to buy and ADX can also be a coin like wings they seem to have cooperation....

Price on small exchanges can be easily manipulated so cannot be real representation of price that will be on Bittrex for example, where for manipulation you need a lot of BTCs. I will wait for a Bittrex or Poloniex, i do not have much trust in those smaller one.

I doubt it can be easily manipulated, ADX price has been stable on 0.00009-0.0001 btc atm on liqui. I have some funds on liqui and until now it went smoothly without any problem so i can say they are quite safe.

As per my observation, it's probably a manipulation few days ago, at least on HitBTC.

The price on Liqui was quite stable, but the price shown on coinmarketcap is average of price on exchanges. When HitBTC volume was approx. 30% of the total and the price there was 6 times on the others, the average price was 2-3x what indicated in Liqui.

It will be automatically generate after you have made the contract, It will be included in the symbol and other. But i've heard there is a relationship with the kind of the token itself. There are some kinds of the ethyereum based token.

I mean it took a big hit along with the rest of the market in July. As a new project that is still somewhat flying under the radar, it is taking a little bit longer to recover, but it is. I still believe in this project 100%.

This is not a progressive pump probably. The total trade volume of AdeX on Bittrex is way high. It has 7314 BTC volume today. The price saw almost $0.90 which is very satisfying for the adex holders. We are not familiar volumes above 1000 BTC generally.

I advise you to hold it. The dev team has stated that there will be made important announcements next week. Could boost up the price again. Also a listing on a Chinese exchange is on the road

I don't know if what you are saying is true. Dependent is definitely not the word. AdEx is a project very independent from NEO when it started. It was already great from the very beginning. NEO went from 0.0011 to 0.0125 but ADX has not even doubled completely during its pump (from 14k to 27k).
I think the max it can go is $5-6 because it is not that good, but can be pumped some day to its ATH at 50k because the day since it was listed at Trex, it was never pumped after it went down from 50k to even less than 5k. It's all about speculation and I have seen many saying that ADX could do $30, but that's almost impossible (at least for the near future).

Late as always, whatever my great wish always for AdEx. I would guess Adex next big thing. It seems to have the most momentum in the community. Their community has incredible solidarity. It will be up and breaks the current resistance.

The AdEx DApp Beta Rolled Out

After months of rigorous development, we are proud to announce the release of the AdEx Network Beta.

We are proud and happy to announce the launch of the AdEx DApp Beta. The DApp is coming out right on time as per our roadmap, however we are jumping ahead in the development. Instead of AdEx Network V1, we are rolling out AdEx Network V2 (Version 2 was originally scheduled.

This advancement is a result of an architecture redesign that gives AdEx better scalability, more flexibility and ultimately — better user experience.

In addition, AdEx users (both publishers or advertisers) will have the option to log in with popular crypto wallets. Initially, only the Metamask option will be available, however Ledger and Trezor will be made available shortly.

This V2 of our smart contracts allow bids to be off-chain signed messages until accepted. This significantly improves scalability but also adds up to the general architecture of those smart contracts — with it, second layer scaling solution such as Plasma will be absolutely compatible with our DApp if necessary.

We are planning to continue exploring scaling in the next months.

What can you expect
A clean and simple interface. For years now, advertising platforms have been overloaded with menus, tabs, screens and options — to the point that setting up a campaign has become utterly frustrating. This is not the case with AdEx: we have stripped our interface down to the what you really need. Creating a new advertising campaign is easy as a piece of cake, and so is placing and accepting bids. Not to mention that the UI is quite easy on the eyes!

No fees or commissions. With AdEx, advertisers place their bids for a particular advertising slot, and thus determined the CPM/CPC they are willing to pay; publishers can then accept or reject the bid and if they accept it, the ad campaign goes live. Once the campaign is over and the ad delivery is verified by both parties, publishers receive their payment in the form of ADX tokens. We at AdEx charge absolutely no fees or commissions for the transactions that happen on the DApp.

A bug or two. We have done our best to ensure the AdEx Beta functions as flawlessly as possible, however it is still a Beta — so a bug or two are about to be expected. If you come across something that is not working properly, or if you believe there’s a better way for a feature to work — do let us know!

What is next for AdEx
In the upcoming months we will focus on the seamless onboarding of all advertisers and publishers who have expressed interested in using AdEx for their advertising needs. We will also actively seek prospective users to speed up the adoption of our DApp.

Along with this, our development team will continue working on improving scalability and on introducing new functionalities to the platform.

As the AdEx project evolves, so does our concept and timeline for its development. Below is the revised and updated roadmap for AdEx.

Stage 1: Research [Completed]
June 2016 — June 2017

During this stage we researched the feasibility of the vision to create a decentralized and transparent ad network. We worked closely with the WINGS Foundation and other advisors to arrive at the current concept and assemble a suitable team.

Stage 2: Token Crowdsale [Completed]
June 2017 — July 2017

This stage marks the deployment of the first AdEx smart contract and the announcement of ADX token. The ADX token will launch with the help of WINGS.

There will be a crowdsale in which 80% of the ADX token will be offered and the rest will be distributed to the team, advisors, bounty program and WINGS DA.

The crowdsale is necessary to fund the development of the prototype and the business development required to drive initial adoption.

Stage 3: Prototype/AdEx Dapp Beta [Completed]
July 2017 — February 2018

The first AdEx prototype will be delivered as early as February 2018, and it will include a basic ad bidding system with a front-end for advertisers and a front-end for publishers, as well as an SDK for publishers.

This prototype will focus on native advertising and display advertising.

It will be completely open-source and independently audited.

Stage 4: Adoption and Improvement
February 2018 — July 2019

This stage includes heavy business development. The software development is driven by the market needs and feedback as we increase the adoption rate of the AdEx system.

We will continue to bring new functionalities and enhance the user experience within the AdEx dapp.

Additionally, during this stage we are bringing other forms of advertising to the dapp — for example video advertising.

Stage 5: Rolling Out the AdEx Protocol
July 2018 — September 2018

At this stage, we are releasing the AdEx protocol. It is a generalized advertising infrastructure that includes smart contracts and our node (i.e. a scaling solution). This protocol aims at fully bridging the advertising and blockchain industries in order to allow for more and better blockchain-based advertising solutions.

During this stage, we will experiment with various scaling solutions like Plasma. We will also test options for reward systems for attention monetization.

Stage 6: Dapp Improvements
July 2018 — September 2018

During Q3 2018, we are introducing new functionalities to the AdEx dapp.

This stage brings massive improvements to the user targeting and reporting.

We also plan to enhance the user experience — most importantly, we will work towards making the integration of the publisher SDK as easy as possible.
