Which do you think is better?
I already got the MSI... and so far.. was only able to do 620kh/s... can't get it to 650+
i don't have sapphire yet... but thinking of getting if it is really better than MSI R7950

Actually I'm wondering the same.. I have to choose a HD7950 between these brands:
* MSI Twin Frozr.......$320....880Mhz * Gigabyte...............$320....900Mhz * Sapphire Vapor-X...$305....850/950(Boost State) MHz * XFX.....................$330....900Mhz
Any review would be much appreciate it, I already decided to invest in 6 of these cards.. which one do you recommend and why?

I would use the reference cards for easy voltage change.

R7950s are a good choice and they are not hardware locked like the Gigalocks are.
cgminer I-19 -g 1 --thread-concurrency 24000 1070/1250 1.063v gets about 653Kh/s

How are you guys getting these clock speeds? i have gb/saphire/pwr color and all run around 450mh/s on dual pcie x16. tried oc'ing and 7950's got super hot and started shutting down. would love to double production so am open to recommendations. out of the three brands I like the saphire best. Had to send one of my gb's back already. pain. thx. have a twin frozr on the way so we will see what that one does.

no. should I be? I think there would be better airflow but it makes that much difference? what about everyone else and their 600+ MH/s? Am I the only person in the btc universe not using risers? Great. Seriously though, is the performance impact that much? What other ideas other than straight oc'ing? Speaking of oc'ing, is there a best setting that anyone has found for performance vs temp? 900mhz? 960mhz?

Mind sharing your config for getting 630 from these cards? I've overclocked mine to 1125 and max I get is 590... Also, at that clock windows locks up after a little while, so not sure how you're getting even more...

--scrypt -I 19 -g 1 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 24000 --gpu-engine 1070 --gpu-memclock 1250 --gpu-vddc 1.075 --gpu-fan 100 -o stratum+tcp://coinotron.com:3334 -u username -p password
Pulling 640 with these settings with Twin Frozr III. If --gpu-vddc doesnt work for you try Trixx worked for me
